(And does two "ins" make an "out", or are you on the second stage of a pub crawl)?

I never think of Duane Gish for anything. He reminds me of a virus, as does Kent Hovind & Ken Hamm. I avoid them like the plague. What they say makes my blood pressure rise. I don't need any more reasons to take Hydrochlorothiazide (Blood pressure medicine)

Straggler writes: If you know what stage of a pub crawl you are on it isn't yet worthy of the term "pub crawl" It was just an inn joke. Its another of my pet peeves when people can't distinguish "it's" from it's sound-alike "its". Yet another annoying phenomena is when people mix up "phenomenon" with "phenomena".** There are many such phenomenon amongst my pet peeves.
**Inductive reasoning leads Straggler to check hurriedly on a recent post for possible editing requirements.

Cucumber. Despite Larry and Bob heading up a television show about vegetables, neither cucumbers nor tomatoes are vegetables

I was aware of that but "tomato" was what I thought. I suppose if I had thought "volkswagen", I might have thought twice but thinking twice is beside the point of the exercise, isn't it? ... neither cucumbers nor tomatoes are vegetables I'm still not sure why I was expected to think "carrot". Does it have something to do with the number "1" resembling a carrot? "It appears that many of you turn to Hebrew to escape the English...." -- Joseppi

And if asked "Name an animal that lives in the jungle.", the majority of people will say 'lion' - and lions don't even live in jungles.

I'm still not sure why I was expected to think "carrot". Does it have something to do with the number "1" resembling a carrot? No, most people will say "carrot" if you just ask them cold. It is possible that distracting them with arithmetic first makes them more likely to do so; or it is possible that the makers of the video just did that to make it more impressive. If they just said: "Name a vegetable", and then said: "We bet you said "carrot" because 80%* of people do so when asked to name a vegetable", that would leave you relatively unimpressed.
* I can't be bothered to look up the exact percentage, but it is large.

Name a tool. The first thing that came to mind was one of these:
I'm going to guess that most people say "hammer".

Despite Larry and Bob heading up a television show about vegetables, neither cucumbers nor tomatoes are vegetables Actually, now that I think about it, maybe I didn't give an accurate answer. When it said "Think of a vegetable" it brought to mind an image of a large shallow glass bowl full of salad with cucumbers on top of lettuce at the top. Since cucumbers were the top most vegetable I said my answer was cucumbers, but maybe I should have answered salad. Anyway, there were no carrots in the salad that I could see. I could see some bean sprouts, though. --Percy

When I think of a tool this is what I think of first:
This is because archaeologists work by trowel and error...
