Shit man. Now I have to rethink all of my misconceptions about you.

What's wrong with gay bikers?

Doing the drugs makes thing bad.
Why is that?

No, because I have a problem with people just arbitrarily saying "drugs are bad, mmmkay", when it is the individual doing the drugs that is bad. I have done damn near every drug under the sun and i am no "crackhead" or "junkie".
"just say no" is just like teaching kids abstinence instead of sexual education. You put weed on the same pedastal as meth/heroin.
You know what drugs are bad? Prescription drugs that have unknown side effects, or side effects that are worse than the problem you are taking them for. The ones that the doctors have no plans to ween you off of.

Re: Just Say No
I was being somewhat facetious.
Oops. My bad. I thought you were serious.
OK. Are we gonna have a "I've done X" drug-off contest?
No, of course not. That was not my intent with that statement. It was more to solidify my point that it is the person doing the drugs, not so much the drug itself.

Re: Just Say No
But all sorts, regardless of personality, can get addicted to smack in the right (or wrong) circumstances.
I wouldn't be so sure about that. I've done it a few times when I was growing up and I haven't done it since. I don't like it.
At any rate, I apologize to Lyx for derailing his topic. Sorry dude.

What does that have anything to do with anything I said? I have seen my fair share of those near me go through drug addiction.
My main point was: it's idiotic to arbitrarily say "drugs are bad, mmkay". What drugs? Why are they bad for EVERYONE? How is being addicted to cocaine any worse than being addicted to prescription painkillers? Oh, that's right, the "fda" says percocet and valium are ok, so there is nothing wrong with that sort of addiction. Who are you to tell me, or anyone than your own children what substance they can put in their body?

You are right. However in Message 35, you said:
Nothing, as long as they aren't doing drugs.
Doing the drugs makes thing bad.
implying that drugs are bad, without qualifying that statement. All I did was point out how ignorant a statement that was, since you just said "drugs", that must include prescription as well. Since I've made abundantly clear the asinine nature of said statement, and how far off topic this is, I say you drop it.
