How awful, now I know where the rest of those people with an IQ under 100 have been hiding, I somehow knew the US Army wasn't large enough to contain them all.
Oh BTW, did you notice some of the misspellings in the subtitles? 0:26 idea not ideia0:33 New Zealand not New Zeland 0:42 Buddist not Budhist (what is a Budhist? Tommy Chong?) 1:18 Elizabeth not Elisabeth (Queen of Romania 1881-1914) 2:59 Kofi Annan not Kofi Anan 3:54 Mississippi not Mississipi 3:58 John Glenn not John Glen My daughter would have noticed.......back in grade school. At least you have an excuse for not noticing, being from Slovenja (or as spelled in the US, Slovenia, but must defer to those who actually live there) and not having English as a primary language. Now what is Buzsaw's excuse? I notice he called some unnamed people stupid in the IQ thread. Somehow I just can't think of anyone incapable of using spellcheckers as a Wiley E Coyote type supergenius. Or not, depending on the post. His horse?
Oh BTW, did you notice some of the misspellings in the subtitles? What I loved was their doctoring of the maps, relabeling Australia (where I believe the original tv show production was from, iirc from previous posting) to other various countries (north korea, iran, france, etc) and getting the clueless to stick pins in it. Sad commentary on general education levels I'd say. by our ability to understand Rebel American Zen Deist ... to learn ... to think ... to live ... to laugh ... to share. Well, here's one of our politicians, she was a member of the house of representatives when she twittered this:

quote: A better translation:
quote: In short, she either thought earthquakes are caused by climate change, or she thought there was some kind of flooding there due to climate change. Both are pretty stupid. Oh, and she's a member of one of our "left sided" parties, which to some of you Yanks will sound like communists . So yes, stupidity is there in every layer of society.

Sad commentary on general education levels I'd say. Sad indeed. However I have a slight sympathy for those who can't tell the difference between Australia and their ass. Namely the land down under gave the US Ken Ham and Rupert Murdoch, so such ignorance may be seen as a psychological defense mechanism. And where is the damn Tooth's Sheaf Stout? Know what the difference between an Australian and a Texan is? The Australian got caught. So far no Aussie has got the joke, so the ignorance cuts both ways. Guess they are too busy dodging the most venomous critters on earth. You guys want Sarah Palin and her brood? I only say it in the spirit of fairness (and appropriate malice). To be honest i have similar stories.
One from primary school when a friend of mine was asked to point out America on the map, by the teacher, and he did not notice that the map that was pulled down was a map of Slovenia. The teacher did not know if she should laugh or cry. And one from high school where i snuck in to a neighboring school a 3 year long high school for those that want to work at a counter in a store or something similar. To my countries defense almost the whole class was made of immigrants. They where asked to point out Africa on the world map one by one came up and did not know and got a 1 (F) then one raised his hand went up used one finger to point to somewhere near the Kongo (usually you have to drag your hand trough the whole continent) and the whole class cried out Piflar (nerd).

frako writes: And mister president George W Bush How could you elect this guy twice rofl Don't blame me, in fact I actually took time out from voting Libertarian just to vote for Gore and Kerry (ugh) against that phony. Worst President since Buchanan IMHO, amazing what fear and (self) loathing can do, as Hunter S would say. another excellent example of a politician opening his mouth ...
How could you elect this guy twice rofl I didn't. I voted against him twice, and after the first time I apologized to all the creationists that I had called stupid, because I had obviously overestimated the average intelligence of the American public. Even knowing that half of americans need to be under 100 IQ due to the math involved ...
