Talks about God, religion and someone's worldview can be sparked by almost anything at times.
Nevertheless, it just doesn't happen.
I think the people I work with, understand that it is not appropriate to discuss religion in the work place. And if they say something that drops a hint, perhaps I fail to catch that hint.

Someone dies ---) life after death ?
Remembering back to around 30 years ago, the daughter of one of my colleagues died of leukemia. She was around 20 years old. I don't recall any talk of life after death. I assume that my colleague was probably involved in some church, since that is typical. But that never came up. I did attend a memorial service, but that's largely an expected social activity and arranged by the funeral directory, so one cannot make inferences about religion from that.
I did know that another of my colleagues was an organist at a Chicago church. I later discovered that he was an atheist, who just happened to enjoy playing the organ.
I hear almost no talk about religion, very little about baseball, somewhat more (though still not very much) about football.
