I'm excited because Sarah Palin will screw the republicans over the same way that son of a bitch Ralph Nader screwed us over in 2000. In fact, Sarah Palin has the potential to do more damage to the republican party than Nader ever did to the dems.
It looks to me like the republicans as a whole have ceded even the pretense of moderation over their fear of the tea baggers. They've fallen all over themselves trying to win the hearts of this picayune but rabidly right-wing group that they entertainingly continue to break one of their own hero's rule: Though shalt not speak ill of a fellow republican. They're so busy being extreme that they will just eat themselves up.
As far as Nadar goes, it seems to me to be a sad state of affairs when people in a democracy decry the running of more than two parties as an insult instead of revelling in the vibrancy of elections with more than two choices. Nothing is even said about the possible strengthening of the party platforms that occurs when more than two choices are available.
