Help me understand Intelligent Design (part 2)

Hi RaggedI seriously doubt that anyone will ever be able to tell you exactly what ID postulates because nobody knows. That is the heart of the problem. There is no difined postulation for ID. Every ID proponent you talk to has their own unique ideas about it and most of them directly contradict each other.

Damn!And I thought the whole kaboodle was sneezed out of the nose of a being known as the Great Green Arkleseizure!Haven't you ever seen the Arkleseizurians spreading pamphlets outlining a time that they call "The coming of the great white hand-kerchief"?Apparently we are all doomed when it happens.(Concept shamelessly borrowed from "the HitchHiker's Guide to the Galaxy", our one and only source of TRUE wisdom)

That would about sum it up.Views on ID that I have come up against range from something indistinguishable from 6 day creationism, up to and including a theory that the Human Race might well be the result of microbial contamination on the boots of an alien race who explored the universe eons ago.Once they come up with a coherent theory, I just hope they will let us know.Think we are in for a long wait though.
