Stocks on wall street fell again today. Despite gains made yesterday. Italy and Spain being bailed out. Global down turns leads me to one question. Has corporate greed throttled the very well spring that sustained our economies? In other words, If the populace that works and spends are unable to keep working and spending. As social programs are further curtailed. What will keep this global economy afloat? Corporate money is seeking safe havens and Governments are refusing to tax them. I really am starting to think our collective governments are inept.

It would be almost funny if it was not so sad.
I have in the past been a Republican. But It seems our country has churned out some partisian dirt bags on both sides.
We are reaping the results of 3 decades of American voter apathy and ignorance. It is like both partys are standing in a sinking canoe and one says let it sink we need to clean house and the other is saying we all go down together, but its your at fault.
It matters not at this point who put the hole in the canoe.
The rich will drown and the poor will drown together.
I have seen a change in America and it is this, we have become a nation of selfish, fat materialist morons. The wealthy manipulate the system to get richer and the middle class borrow they're way into the upper middle class. The poor stay poor. Our infrastructure is crumbling, our education system is too. Our children are fat but not happy. Our adults, struggling in homes they bought but cant afford and driving cars they cant afford. Our leaders feckless. It is all our fault. another 4 years of Dems will equal 4 more years of nothing getting done. Another 4 years of Republican rule will equal 4 more years of erroding infrastructure and corporate vampirism. If you are wealthy as W. Buffet you very well be able to ride out this turbulance for the next several decades. But those of us who are unfortunate enough to rely on wages and are at the mercy of either being taxed to death or work to age 80.

Bachman drill baby drill! Perry pray baby pray
I just read a article where Bachman advocates the elimination of the EPA.
WTF???? Meet the Neocons, they want you to work more, earn less and pay taxes. They want to privatize SS in order to create weath for investment banks, They want to strip the US for fuel, contaminate our water suppy and fund more in oil. WTF??? Meet gov Perry, a wealthy anti education, cessesionist moron who will pray the US into fiscal solvancy. The fact that anyone is taking these two as viable candidates is spooky. Obama is to progressive and measured to be president. We need a liberal kook to drag the bell curve back to center imo.

From what I can tell this is going to be a scary situation for the United States. All of the GOP hopefuls freak me out. And President Obama remaining president is no better imo. It is almost as if our country has become so polarized over the last few decades.
I understand we need a strong military, but being at war for ten years is ridiculous. I understand that conservatives believe deregulating business will lead to job growth, but it has not in the past in the face of abject greed. Our wants and needs are secondary to bueracrats and corporations. And those imo who see the king has no clothes on are left with no choices on election day.
And the remainder of our propagandized brethren will find new scape goats to blame regardless of who is president. What has happened to America folks?

Re: The Republican party is full of fucking buffoons.
I want to go on record that I did not vote for him .
He is and was a embarrassment to Texas long before this fiasco.
Like back when he was wooing the Tea Party stating Texas may cede from the union.

Romney cue cards for what ever is asked
"I'm a passionate likable guy to those who know me."
"I care deeply for America"
"I believe Obama is ruining the country"
" I can get America back on track, create good jobs"
"I know how to govern."
Pull the string on his back and hear him for yourself.

Of course it's important, that's why Newt has pledged himself to protect marriage. So long as it isn't one of his. After all, if he can't have a faithful monogamous relationship, why should anyone else?
And worse yet, he was one of the biggest village idiots in congress howling for President Clinton to be burned at the stake. I hope Newt gets the nomination, the Dem political machine will have ample fodder to make him squirm.

Just who, exactly, in the Republican field would the Democrats not have ample fodder for?
Good point. However Mitt Romney is the only candidate that doesnt seem batshit crazy. Santorum appeals to the base but to wingnut.imo.
Newt is the last of the old Neocons. Urban Dictionary: Neocon
He will appeal to his base and bs his way into the nomination and will hope the whole country suffers from amnesia election day.

I must say I am honestly frightened at the prospect of a obstructionist, corporate social-con hawk getting elected.
I honestly feel trepidation that people are so propagandized about the 'evils' of socialism and the perils of the lamestream media perpetuating the leftist agendas. The march of Islam taking over America and the mandates of a black socialist liberal passing legislation to secure his power block. It is not just Fox News/ Glenn Beckster's and dittoheads, but actual members of congress who believe in deathcamps and conspiracy theories of the worse order who are making decisions in American policy.
We have a problem.
