This is getting terrible OT in an otherwise great thread, but dont mind if i do;
Monty Python writes:
Arthur: What manner of man are you that can summon up fire without flint or tinder?
Tim: I... am an enchanter.
Arthur: By what name are you known?
Tim: There are some who call me... 'Tim'...?
Arthur: ...greetings, Tim the Enchanter.
Seems like a better US president than the current and the last couple of decades of bastards.

Michele Bachmann dox
PolitiFact has a great profile on Michele Bachmann.
| PolitiFact
They do a pretty good job of revealing lies from prominent politicians, Democrats and Republicans alike.
I don't think she (Bachmann) has any chance of getting elected. And dead Michael Palin would have a better shot than Sarah Palin.
As for the other republicans, i really dont think they have a chance either. It will be 4 more years of Obama, which isent good, but atleast it's not as bad as 4 new years with another current candidate.

Re: Good For Perry
He wants to go back to what worked very well for both gays and straight i.e. don't ask, don't tell
Jesus Christ man, Wheres your heart!?
You are a veteran right? How would you feel if you could not tell anybody about your sweetheart backhome when you served? If you had to pretend to be another person, 24/7?
You should be more like this young patriots father, and army friends.
GIs will, by and large find two gay men soldiers making love, kissing, etc in the trenches and around the bases repulsive and demoralizing.
How do you know?
Error code: 404
And why would they be kissing in the trenches? Why would they even be in trenches?
If 2 gay men happens to be kissing, you can look away you know..
Rules are rules..
Within militaries, officers and members of enlisted ranks are typically prohibited from personally associating outside of their professional duties and orders. Excessively familiar relationships between officers of different ranks may also be considered fraternization, especially when between officers in the same chain of command. The reasons for anti-fraternization policies within modern militaries often include the maintenance of discipline and chain of command and the prevention of the spreading of military secrets to enemies, which may amount to treason or sedition under military law. (For an example of the former, consider a fighting force in which officers are unwilling to put certain enlisted men at risk; for an example of the latter, consider a situation in which a senior officer passes secrets to a junior officer, who allows them to be compromised by a romantic interest and consequently to end up in the hands of the enemy).
That covers everyone...
Years back....
Another War Department decree of 1940 asserted that segregation "has proven satisfactory over a long period of years." A survey of white enlisted men in 1942 revealed "a strong prejudice against sharing recreation, theater, or post exchange facilities with Negroes"; of southern soldiers polled, only 4 percent favored equal PX privileges for their black comrades."

Re: Good For Perry
You should read the Army Times link i posted in a response to buz.
I don’t care about your sexuality, said Navy Ensign Mario Tarver, now in flight training at Vance Air Force Base, Okla. If you can get the job done, load up my plane so I can go perform the mission, I have no problem with you.
I would think in the vast majority of cases, 99 percent, there would be no impact, said Navy Intelligence Specialist 1st Class David Rister, who worked with a Special Forces unit in Iraq in 2007 and now is assigned to a Hawaii-based P-3 squadron.
I probably would continue just being like I am, said a gay Air Force captain. I’m not going to put a big rainbow sticker on my desk. I’d put pictures of my partner on my desk.
And btw., DUMB soldiers dont complain about their officers policies, if they seem wrong. I dont know much about the US millitary, but here in Denmark, we want soldiers, not robots or cannonfodder.

You should stop using IP over Avian Carriers and get a proper connection instead.
Besides, the picture is only a waste, if you have no interest in the Republican primaries, the top candidates and their battle with each other.

Themes which cannot be explored in less than 1500 x 989 pixels.
Thats the minimum required by CNN. The next step is hologrammes, but i dont know if the EvC software supports that yet..

Re: Toronto's Mayor
I doubt any modern president has failed to put in 2000+ hours in any given year.
Are you saying that a president works less than an hour each day?

You forgot the last part of the sentence: "away from the fog of controversy".
Separately, Pelosi spokesman Brendan Daly offered this interpretation of Pelosi's comment: "She meant there was so much talk about process (in Congress) that people have lost sight of what’s actually in the bill. Once it’s passed, we can remind them of all the good things that are in it."
We called the non-partisan Kaiser Family Foundation, which has posted side-by-side comparisons online of health care plans approved by the House and Senate. Its spokesman, Craig Palosky, reminded us that Congress posts the entire legislation online.
It's not a very good political pun now, but it still funny, because sometimes when i lay a stool sample, i cant see whats in it before the fog and controversy disappears
