Straggler and Coragyps asked how you know this, and I'm going to ask the same question, but in another way.Cosmologists studying the universe have not yet gathered enough evidence to know whether the universe is eternal or not.Since you appear to know that God is eternal, you must have gathered sufficient evidence to reach this conclusion.What is that evidence?One other thing. Should your statements about God be construed as a belief that the ID designer is God? If so, do you have any evidence supporting this view?--Percy

I had already discovered the boundary line between the natural and intelligent. So, by usng that line, it shows that nat selec was a fairy tale.

I don't doubt that you do believe this. But why do you think your particular beliefs have any bearing on reality? And other books will say other things which suggest that other gods are the undesigned designers of the universe.I suppose with regard to this thread the question is this - Do you consider your belief that the Christian God is the designer to be a faith based position or an evidence based position?

Its both for me. I dont believe in God because it adds some sort of meaning in my life. I believe because I believe it is the truth. And that involves the real world that we see and also the spirit world that we cant see. Edited by Portillo, : No reason given.

Are you asking me why I believe that God exists? I dont think its possible to explain in one message why I believe because believing in God isnt something that happens overnight, at least not for me. It is a long spiritual journey. But I do believe it is based on the evidence around me, such as a strong sense of place within a cosmos that radiates the glory of God and displays a divine structure.
