Re: you're welcome illiterate jew
Blends? Single Malts? not really sure, I never wanted to get the name, or try them again. I would categorize them in the gross, tastes like a liquid ashtray, and maybe i should mix this with something groups.

Chess is complex. "If you can keep your head while those around you are losing theirs, you can collect a lot of heads."

Re: Fresh meat
Hey dogma--I'm Omnivorous at chess.com. Send a challenge at any tiime. That goes for other players in this thread as well. I need more games, and I'd rather play EvCers than strangers. "If you can keep your head while those around you are losing theirs, you can collect a lot of heads."

Omnivorous notes:
Chess is complex. Yes it is. But it makes my head hurt, like Catholic Scientist's cartoon of Jackie Chan... So is Go (Weiqi, Baduk....) I have spent of bit of time studying this game, but I am so poor at it after all that. I saw that I would have to do a thick collegiate concentration at my study of it. And somehow the result in my case was unsatisfactory. The Ko rule is very nice in practice, but very bad in theory - the opposite of the usual state of affairs. But Go is lightyears ahead of avoiding stupid rules on so many games, like Chess or Shogi. For a while it seemed that Go was so perfect you could almost imagine, when the aliens arrived on Earth, asking them how big their Go board was - so as to get a measure of how smart they were. But....this was quickly squashed by the various different rule sets for what should be a simple rule set - especially when it came to Seki or Super-Ko. So, for awhile I fell into designing my own abstract games.... Years later I have seen that this is even a much worse trap into obsessive darkness than being a singer/songwriter, which I still am. - xongsmith, 5.7d

Fear&Loathing writes: The only way to get better is to be beaten, I find this as fun as winning, being able to look back and see where you THINK you went wrong is half the fun. Omni just defeated me kindly...he could have really toyed with me had he been sadistic! So I'm open for anyone to challenge me....

Re: ChessLife
That makes: Omnivorous: 4 Phat: 1 Dogmafood: 1 caffeine: -1 fearandloathing: -1 Jon: -2 frako: -2 Unless we get a slew of new folk to play, there aren't enough games left to change the first place ranking as far as I can tell. Thus: 1st Place: Omnivorous Love your enemies!
