Re: But wait, there's more!
Never heard of Roy Zimmerman before, ...
Oh, he is good. I don't know how you could have missed him.

That's just awful and should be deleted.
Maybe it was intended to laugh at the people spreading that image.
For the moment, I am giving it the benefit of the doubt.

Re: Apparently, i got Some Splaining To Do
1. You see the headline and you think you are about too see a touching moment.
2. You see the picture and think "Reagan feeding a chimp.. kinda touching..."
When I first saw your post, I went through 1 and 2. I guess I missed the bottom line, which was off the bottom of the screen.
I puzzled as to why anybody would think that funny enough to post in humor. And then I went on to a different thread.
When I later came back (probably because of another post in Humour VII), I saw that long row of jeers, so looked more closely to try to understand why. That's when I got to:
3. You see the final explanation, which is really racist, and denotes the 2 parts you see before no. 3.
and that certainly explained the jeers.
In any case, I gave you the benefit of the doubt (see Message 549) and did not add my own jeer.
It does seem to me that if you see only points 1 and 2, then it is not at all funny. And once you see point 3, it is very unfunny.
So I am still shaking my head in puzzlement.

Jesus quits the Republican party
Jesus Withdraws Endorsement of GOP
A sample:
The Son of God brushed aside criticisms that he was being a fair-weather friend to the GOP. "No, it's more than that. Among other things, I finally got around to reading the Republican party platform. Have any of you actually taken a look through this? It's like the Old Testament, for My sake. People always ask 'What Would Jesus Do?,' and I'll tell you what I'd do: I'd dump these turkeys."
There's more good stuff at the link.

The version of that story that I previously heard, ends with the Jewish guy (maybe it was a Rabbi) saying:
Life begins when the children leave home and the dog dies.
