In mid 1970's My sister and I could go to the movie theater, watch a movie, eat tons of candy and popcorn with a dollar each. We still would have money left over. Theater tickets for the matinee where 35 cents. So today mantinee tickets in my area are around 8.00
That calculates to 44 percent so thats in keeping with your figures.
George Lucas predicts movie tickets will go up to 50.00 someday.
