Re: scale and location
Forget it.
I was pretty far into a long post giving you a quick lesson on Catholicism and religious orders. Then I realized I shouldn't waste my time. If you are not willing to take the step to learn about a subject before you post something that exposes your utter ignorance and knowledge on the subject, why should I bother trying to point out your ignorance.
You are going to believe what you want to believe and parrot what you have heard elsewhere.
What you want to believe has no impact whatsoever on reality. Reality exists no matter what you believe.

So this was an acknowledgment that you have no idea what the Jesuits at Fordham feel about any subjects?

"God did it" is not an argument. It is an excuse for intellectual laziness.

Ann Coulter is the Ali G of the GOP
There are usually two groups of people: those who think Ali G is real, and those who think Ali G is hilarious. IOW, there are those who are in on the joke, and those who are the joke. When it comes to Ann Coulter, I can't help but think that people like FEY are the joke.
The same applies to professional wrestling.

Isn't the difference, though, that fake wresting is funny and entertaining?

Stephen Colbert is the Ali G of the GOP. Ann Coulter is real, unfortunately. It just seems that way because she's so out there.
When it comes to Ann Coulter, I can't help but think that people like FEY are the joke.
People like Coutler and Tucker Carlson, and the like, are based off of real people delivering mostly true feelings. Of course they've built an audience and play to them now, but it stems from a real personality.
If she was trolling, or doing what Sacha Baron Cohen did, as a performer, it wouldn't last this long.
