Thank you for the nomination! Proud to have my first one!

That thread has been a lot of fun, I wish people would keep that one going...hint....hint...Lol.

Granny's Message 754 immediately above is in the same league...and reminds me of how often I've had to refer Christians to the Book of Job.

That is among the best compliments I've ever received. Thank you.

"There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. The other, of course, involves orcs." - John Rogers

Hi Omni,

I can't say that my message was in the same league as Rahvin's but thank you nonetheless.

Props are due for GDR as well; that thread has been one of the most interesting of late and whilst I may disagree with GDR about... well, almost everything, you have to admire his resolve in defending his beliefs against the unruly EvC mob! The thread has provoked some interesting discussion all round.

Thanks Granny. By and large all you heathens that disagree with the obvious wisdom in my posts have been thoughtful and respectful. In a lot of cases in asking why horrible diseases exist it seems to me that brings you a lot closer to the heart and mind of God than many Christians. That of course is JMHO.

Good links, good comments, or something like that.

Basically, I was impressed that there was some real data there.

I'm semi-drunk right now and basically don't give a bleep about cosmo-physics, but others at the topic seem to think this is a particularly good message. But they didn't give it a POTM nomination.

Maybe I'll actually get back there again and read more of the message, when my one active brain cell is once again operating correctly.

A mixed review for Granny Magda at "Which animals would populate the earth..."
Author: Granny Magda

Thread: Which animals would populate the earth if the ark was real?
Message #: 222

I really liked the following paragraph, especially the bolded part:

If you disagree with the time frame, then you disagree with all geology. You have swept away the very foundations of the discipline. You need a whole new explanatory framework. You can't just pick and choose as is convenient.

Minnemooseus gave the message a (+) and a POTM nomination.

Adminnemooseus gave the message a (-) for the general snarky/nasty tonality of the message.

Some good content but presented in a distasteful way.

Atheos canadensis and Faith
I'd like to nominate Atheos canadensis and Faith for 'Post of the Month' for their participation on

Why the Flood Never Happened (more than one post I know)

We haven't had one for a while now.

This thread turned into a quite lively discussion, covering a lot of topics, but Atheos canadensis kept to his points throughout. It is nice to see a new member grow and learn to debate with respect for others.

He was helped of course by Faith, as no thread gets far without someone to debate with, and she certainly held up the creationist side as well as anyone could expect.

Enjoy

Seconded. Fantastic post. I remembered about this forum too late to nominate it, but I also really enjoyed Dr A's post a few up from dwise's. Great writers, those two.
