...and who put them there?
I have had them here for the first time today. Does anybody else get them from this site?

No popups for me this morning (or ever, as best I recall).

Never have had the issue here. I can't see Percy having popups on this site. You may have a browser redirect going on. What is.in the pop up?

yieldmanager = pop-up generating spyware. It's pretty resilient - good luck.

Nasty spyware and tracking crap. Search for removal directions. Has nothing to do with EVC. I suggest removing ASAP

Too late. These little critters are hard to get rid of. If a person isn't technical enough to recognize it for what it is and thought the popup came from this site, then he's not going to be able to remove the damn thing(s).
To the OP, I suggest either getting professional help or wiping clean your system.

This is not as big a problem as yenmor is making it seem to be. Search malwarebytes yield manager. Follow directions on the forums to get free support to remove this. I suggest running malwarebytes occasionally. It will.not remove yield manager, but can save you from other crap in the future.

Wiping system clean is a last resort that shouldn't be needed for this situation.

I've been getting a popup that flashes on and then immediately off so I can't see what it is. I assumed that the browser I'm using is killing it.

I am on FF and it usually catches them and notifies me but it had never happened at this site before. I thought that they were triggered by visiting particular sites.
Anyway I have had no more since this morning.

freeware
I use SPYWARE BLASTER to stop and disable spyware. There is a free download at:
http://www.fileparade.com/listing/120859/SpywareBlaster?g...
You can choose to pay a nominal fee to have automatic updates, or you can do manual updates on your own time.
I also use GLARY REGISTRY REPAIR to remove unused or malicious entries in your registry files (do not attempt to do this yourself as you can really mess things up). This too is a free download:
Download Free Registry Repair - Fastest and Safest Registry Cleaner to Fix Registry Errors | Glarysoft
Make sure your "popup blocker" is turned on in FF
If that doesn't fix it then see a professional.
Enjoy
