PS4
In the run up to Christmas my little brother keeps staring wide eyed at the new PS4 adverts, looking up at me with puppy dog eyes saying "I'd love a PS4, Mam and Dad probably won't get it".
He knows I'll crack eventually.

I remember when I first discovered Nintendo emulators for PCs... I think my mind exploded.
Even better to play Snes games on an iPad.

The above ontological example models the zero premise to BB theory. It does so by applying the relative uniformity assumption that the alleged zero event eventually ontologically progressed from the compressed alleged sub-microscopic chaos to bloom/expand into all of the present observable order, more than it models the Biblical record evidence for the existence of Jehovah, the maximal Biblical god designer.

The explain to them any scientific investigation that explains the existence of things qualifies as science and as an explanation

Does a query (thats a question Stile) that uses this physical reality, to look for an answer to its existence and properties become theoretical, considering its deductive conclusions are based against objective verifiable realities.

Xbox One owner
Bought a Day One Xbox One and have been enjoying it immensely. For the record, the PS4 looks like an awesome rig as well and I do game on my PC as well.
For the Master PC Race, please tell me what resolution you are running Forza 5 at, or Halo. The reason I have both is that I enjoy the gaming experiences tailored to both. That, and the Xbox One is a capable media device that has the type of plug-n-play that no PC can match. I suppose I could hook my PC up to my projector so that I can have a 110" PC display, but it just seems like too much hassle at times.
There are glitches in both systems, so early adopters beware. If you want a nearly pain free system wait for about 6 months.

I am waiting a year, just to be safe. Will enjoy my XBox360 up til then.
Another reason for waiting is I want to see how well new games for both consoles are being received by gamers. I myself am a huge fan of Halo, but even for me, the franchise is getting somewhat stale. If Halo 5 coming out next year gets rave reviews, that may be enough to warrant the purchase of an Xbox One. I am also curious to see how good Titanfall is.
Otherwise, most other games that peak my interest are available on both consoles.

Waiting a year will definitely save you money, and there should be a strong roster of games for both consoles at that point. I would fully expect that there will be strong exclusives for both consoles, so it really comes down to which ones interest you the most. Then all you have to do is wait for the end of that console generation, by the other console, and then play all of the exclusives you felt you were missing out on.
Rabid fanboyism aside, both are really good consoles if you are into console gaming.

Multiple Republic characters on The Harbinger server. Started in the beta 6 months before release and have been playing since then.

My little cousin brought his Xbox over to Grampa's for a holiday. He wanted to show me this awesome racing game. I think it was Forza.
I'm a huge Gran Turismo fan so I was down.
The racing was really lame because there was waaay too much auto-driving. Not just major braking assist, but steering assist too. Might as well just hold the gas button and watch.
So I decided to turn all that shit off because I like to drive the cars. Then it got even sillier. They didn't really just turn the assisting off, but they added elements that made it totally non-realistic. The breaks didn't even really stop the car, and the road was turned into ice. We were even testing it by going fairly slow in a straight line and hitting the brakes hard and the car would just slide and slide and slide. He even admitted that it was pretty lame while it was happening.
Does that sound like Forza or is the driving more simulator-ish?
And I stopped playing Halo when I found out that my mother was having sex with all the teenagers in the fanbase.

I played that game for a while. Probably until Guild Wars 2 came out.
I had over a million dollars from crafting and selling those blue and purple space ship parts.
Can't remember the server, but I remember being the dirty rebel scum.

I used to have a game just like that for the Commodore 64. Put the pedal to the metal and just grind around the corners. The only thing you could do wrong was pile into another car from behind. The one in the back was always at fault and lost the race.

Even as an XBox360 owner, I am still quite irked about all that asinine nonsense Microsoft tried to peddle during their rollout. No used games, always connected to the internet, mandatory Kinect, etc.
Now while they have backed away from most of those, my suspicion is that most of the code to turn those features back in is probably still in the operating system of the unit. So I would be worried that after buying one, Mr. Softie decides to 're-activate' those capabilities. Maybe I am just being paranoid, but Microsoft so thoroughly screwed the pooch with this rollout, I wouldn't put it past their idiotic marketing department to try to peddle that nonsense again after they have gained critical mass.

Are there any MMORPG games that are not combat intensive. I don't mind some fighting but get bored with it after a while. I currently play LORTO which is pretty good and you can explore and only battle when you want to. I am wrapping up my degree and am looking for a very immersive MMORPG strong on exploring and low on kill, kill, kill. Appreciate the help.

Sounds like Rally Speedway. One of the best C64 two player racing games. The best part was crashing into someone's house and catching fire
