Please don't anyone tell Faith about those oil-producing strata beneath Bakersfield and Long Beach and Louisiana and the Mahakam Delta and Oklahoma City that are completely unconsolidated. They paved roads in OKC with produced sand + oil back in the 1920's.

Faith has a small tank that could be used for such an experiment. She apparently never used it for an angle of repose experiment because she didn't think the sand I also sent was suitable.
We are indeed all wasting time here.

Re: model dropstone
I have either finely powdered sand or limestone too, Faith. And I still have your address if you want either. None of the dough-forming properties of wheat flour, and both are gluten-free as well.

Even fifty days of continuous Noachic rain on a flat plain is not going to lead to mudslides. A slope is pretty much a requirement for the mud to slide down. It just ain't gonna slide at Levelland, Texas.

Trilobites and crabs, Faith. Every three months I remind you that they have NEVER been found together. Dimetrodons and dinosaurs. Anomalocarids and ray-finned fish. Stegosaurs and mammoths. Tree ferns and maples.
The entire fossil record says you are Making Stuff Up.

"The Christian church, in its attitude toward science, shows the mind of a more or less enlightened man of the Thirteenth Century. It no longer believes that the earth is flat, but it is still convinced that prayer can cure after medicine fails." H L Mencken

And better yet, Faith, find me a trilobite-bearing rock that contains a fossil of a crab, or a perch, or a rat that got caught in a mudslide, or a bird or pleisiosaur.
Just one will do.
