Dredge Creationism
Obviously, YECs are good at judging things.

I think Dredge is somewhere between OEC and Gap Creationist.

An old earth does not bother him or his beliefs, old life does.

But the logic pitfalls that hobble YEC also hobble other forms of Christian creationism, especially in regards to fossils and the evidence they provide for (1) the earliest life being single cell prokaryotes similar to modern blue-green algae, and (2) the natural history of life on earth falling into nested hierarchies based on homologies and shared derived features.

There are also Hindu Old Age Creationists and Muslim Young Earth Creationists, so a better inclusive term is just Creationist.

Enjoy

Re: Dredge Creationism
I tend to see myself as a Cosmological Creationist in that I believe that the universe logically has a Creator...but beyond that I dont emphasize this whole earth creationism thing...apart from perhaps the motives, workings, and intentions of the human soul. I feel that limiting my belief to what one book says is crippling my objectivity. Not that I don't respect the Bible. I believe that the GOD whom I believe in would not disapprove of my inquisitive nature.

Chance as a real force is a myth. It has no basis in reality and no place in scientific inquiry. For science and philosophy to continue to advance in knowledge, chance must be demythologized once and for all. RC Sproul

With comments such as that you expose yourself as nothing but a religion-obsessed troll.

I certainly wouldn't mind if you took your trolling elsewhere.

Religious belief does not constitute scientific evidence, nor does it convey scientific knowledge.

Belief gets in the way of learning--Robert A. Heinlein

In the name of diversity, college student demands to be kept in ignorance of the culture that made diversity a value--StultisTheFool

It's not what we don't know that hurts, it's what we know that ain't so--Will Rogers

If I am entitled to something, someone else is obliged to pay--Jerry Pournelle

If a religion's teachings are true, then it should have nothing to fear from science...--dwise1

"Multiculturalism" demands that the US be tolerant of everything except its own past, culture, traditions, and identity.

Liberals claim to want to give a hearing to other views, but then are shocked and offended to discover that there are other points of view--William F. Buckley Jr.

Not going to happen, because devils are not so stupid as to waste their time with such efforts.

Instead, they will create false theologies like "creation science" which teach its followers that the universe being the way that it is, the way that God had created it, disproves God. Not only do devils get an immense return on investment with such false theologies, but they don't even have to do any work -- all they have to do is give that false theology to a creationist who will then spread it with extreme zealousness. Their victims do all the work for them!

Why is it that you're afraid to respond to even the stupidest evolutionist? (For the sake of this discussion, that would be me.)
