Re: Some useful links
And while the Friends are careful about criticizing the law enforcement response, some are pushing the FBI and other agencies to act.
Why? The growing public reaction to the Hummer Humper Brigade of Y'all Qaeda, Oregon Branch, is the best thing to happen to the "patriot" movement. Let them implode.

quote:
18 U.S. Code 2381:
Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death ...
Can this action in Oregon be considered levying war against the United States?
I think most of us realize such actions are actually attempts at theft from The People under the thin guise of anti-federal government "patriotism". I don't see treason here as much as out-and-out stupidity during the commission of a felony.

War, no. Insurrection? yes.
OK, so we can't hang 'em. But can we suspend them? From a rope around their necks?

Re: This just keeps getting better
Have things changed so much this is no longer true? If the Feds refuse to act, then why should the state also refuse when they are within their rights?
The state has no authority/standing to perform police actions on federal lands. The refuge is not a part of Oregon.
[edit]
I'm of two minds here. The dove in me says violence is never the answer, especially when the death toll has the potential to be dozens of fellow american lives no matter how twisted their political bent. Wait them out. There may yet be a non-violent solution in the future.
The hawk in me says we should storm the area with helicopter gun-ships and tanks crushing the Y'all Qaeda terrorists little heads under the tracks of our APCs.
Then, again, if we wait a bit more, more "patriots" will gravitate to the Hummer Humpers and we can crush more of them all at once when we unleash the dogs.
A lesson in American society: Hear the drum beat of war swell in our society. See how easily we pull the gun and resort to blood.

Re: This just keeps getting better
How long would this last if Black Lives Matter had taken over the refuge?
I don't know. Probably not long in this racist society.
Remember the Indian occupation of Alcatraz. Blood may not be necessary.
Then again, a few dead patriot bodies laid out on the snow would send a message.

Re: This just keeps getting better
Since federal property is the focus of the crime the FBI would have jurisdiction, but if they won't act the governor should be able to act.
I think you'll find that on a day-to-day basis, allowing local police authorities to handle investigating criminal activity on federal lands, is an expedient and agreed to use of police powers already in place to act on behalf of federal authority. The state still has no right to act in any matter like this occupation on its own volition.
Without federal authority the governor cannot call out the National Guard and storm the Malheur Wildlife Refuge.
As for the rest of your well versed frustrated rant ... I agree.

LaVoy Finicum, a flamboyant media mouthpiece for the traitors, has been telling the media for weeks he would rather die than be arrested.
He has gotten what he wanted.
As expected the rest of the terrorist crowd are calling it murder.
This isn't over. The bloodshed will continue. Don't be surprised if there are deaths in an ambush of federal officers next.

No. They will occupy said federal building as long as the court says they have to.

Bundy asks occupiers to stand down. More arrests while others leave.
End of the occupation?
There are still hundreds of armed wackaloons in Burns and the surrounding area. Will they stand down? Here's hoping.

Ironic Justice
What will be most interesting to me is, once the feds clear out the buildings and confiscate what the traitors left behind, what are they going to do with the dildos, personal lubricants and penis gummies?
I think they ought to put it all up for auction, one gummie dick at a time.
And then use the proceeds to buy up the surrounding ranch land to add to the refuge.

Re: Ironic Justice
Well, there's another federal offence we can get them on. Those dildos were sent to the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge. I'll bet the packaging even has the Malheur address on them. They are government property.
Burned them, you say.
Cruel and heartless. Do these people not realize there are entire communities of real Americans across this land that still suffer grave deficiencies in adult sex toys?
That's terrorism.

We’re waiting for our miracle. If this doesn’t wake America up, I don’t know what will.
I wonder what he thinks the American people are supposed to wake up to.
Maybe that we have domestic terrorists and traitors that need to be rolled out on a gurney? I thing we already know that.

Re: Suicide by COP
On the video, there were enough cops and guns in the area for protection. Why did it take almost 10 minuets before anyone went to Finicum? I realize the other fools were still in the truck but, my god, they're cops. You shoot someone aren't you supposed to at least try to render some assistance? Or was this supposed to be a shoot-to-kill?
