Re: Cheese Heads Speak

Unfortunately for Republicans their second major wingnut, Cruz, is the beneficiary...
Cruz really is just as much as a wingnut as Trump. I don't want to believe that the normally quite sane voters in a state such as Wisconsin can vote for anyone like that. But, then again, apparently 4 out of 10 Republican voters in that state described themselves as evangelical...

Good Lord, you are where I've been for around 20 years. I've been voting for what I've thought to have been the least crazy of all the crazy people. In the end all the people I've voted for ended up to be equally ridiculously crazy and also very rich afterwards. (And I vote in 2 different countries!) Whether being in Government or in Opposition. Politicians get very rich. They look after each other. And they stuff normal people.

I'm a big fan of the alternative media. I watch RT every night. They do present only one side of everything, too. Just like Fox. The other side, though.
I love the alternative media. RT. And Al Jazeera.

I completely disagree.
It's never been better for free speech. I mean, you're in America or England or wherever and I can immediately read what you wrote down while I'm in South Africa. You can phone me and directly talk to me. With video chat and all that, too. Free speech and the future of free speech has never been better. Governments can try to curtail it, but their devices are easily circumvented by people with IQ's of more than 10.
Individual freedoms have never been better in the history of the world.

Is being liberal bad?
Last nignt, when I watched CNN, some Cruz campaigner kept on calling Trump 'Liberal Trump'.
Is being branded 'liberal' a bad thing in the US? I mean, even Cameron and Merkel and Trudeau are all very proud to be branded as 'liberals'. In Australia the Prime Minister is very liberal (Liberal Party and all), yet represents a conservative party. And he's proud to be branded as liberal.
In most western countries being branded as 'liberals' are worn as a badge of honour. The centre ground. At least they're the opposite of fascists and communists. And proud of it. Why does the Cruz campaign think that a 'liberal' is a bad badge?

Re: Is being liberal bad?
In some States in the US, I guess. As in most of Africa to be progressive or liberal is seen to be a really bad, bad thing.

Re: Why Superdelegates exist.
I'm not too sure why you're saying this. In those southern states the Republicans would win in November, anyway. Even if they put up a broom stick as candidate (as they've done before...).

But still just a heartbeat away from becoming President.
Looking at the tv and photo's and all that, I don't think that Trump really is that healthy. His skin around his eyes are a bit too untanned. Not explained by sunglasses. Not a healthy person. Something is not healthy. But, if Americans go for him; so be it.

So if I was a Bernie supporter, you would want me to go and knock on doors when I have 3 kids to babysit. I then have to invite a bunch of people over to my house and offer them canaps which I haven't even prepared. From the group, some Hillary plants posing for Bernie bully and cajole their way into voting on my behalf. Before the vote they still have the chance to get rid of any genuine Bernie fans. Perhaps they could give them the wrong address, get them drunk or just dump them on the sidewalk. The survivors who actually arrive at this mysterious caucus location have been screened and are all bona fide Hillary supporters. So my Bernie vote is thus ignored hmmm great system.
Goodness, you like being dramatic.

The correct English. If I were. Are you an illegal Mexican immigrant? You should be deported for not being able to speak English. Build that wall!

Maybe Hillary can convince Sanders to be her running mate. She's not likeable, but he sure is. In November that could also entice the younger generation of Democrats to go and vote instead of staying at home.

Maybe it's time for the Republicans to realise the Tea Party doesn't belong in the GOP?
Maybe it's time to split the GOP and then have a three party system in the US.
