Re: Probability
Chance implies that the force itself came about by chance.
Really? So when someone says that the chance that a tossed coin will land heads, you assume that some random force is going to flip the coin. How is that not idiotic?
If you want to distinguish between statements of chance and probability, I sincerely hope you will do better than that.
The fact of the matter is that chance is just an informal term for probability. If you have some point, can you make it without insisting on writing a dictionary?

That question is answered in other threads. The topic of this thread is selection, which you continue to avoid.
I think his post contains a tacit admission that selection is involved in the fur color of those li'l mice.
Davidjay writes:
Remember size and color are not proof of evolution, as evolutionists so try to claim and assert and pretend.
Yeah, but it is selection that is the topic here. So is this really on topic?

Creationists readily accept that selection happens.
This is a bit of overstatement. At least one regularly posting YEC proponent thinks that selection isn't real.

Evolution would be disproven if the descendant of a fish was a non-fish
What's your point? None of us disagree with any of this. All children are the same kind of animal as their parents and grandparents.

Re: Biston betularia
A river adapts to the terrain, a fluid conforms to the shape of the containing vessel, so what?
We know exactly why a fluid conforms to the shape of its vessel. We can analyze how that happens using physics.
So in the case of a moth, how does conforming to the environment happen? What is the mechanism? We know the genetic difference between black and white moths. So where did those new black moths come from? How are gene alleles selected by the environment since that is your proposed method?
If you cannot find a question worthy of a real answer in there somewhere you are either a genius or a fool.
