New findings are placing coastal settlements of aboriginal peoples in Australia at least 30,000 years ago and maybe 50,000 years ago with as a residential base for family groups 8,000 years ago.
It's particularly interesting that four different independent labs all returned dates between 50,000 and 46,000 years ago. It's yet another great example of how science constantly tests evidence.
