You could use this same argument about a Civil Rights Museum in the Deep South during the 1970's. Why should racist southerner's tax money support an ideology, equality of the black man, that they don't support? Or why should people's tax money go to museums who depict moon landings when they believe it was a hoax to begin with? Or, why should public tax money go towards school vouchers used for christian education when those tax dollars are from athiests?
The simple reason is that the science displayed in those museums and the science funded by the government are both based on solid scientific experimentation and methodology. The same can't be said for creationist science.
