When typing a message in to the little message box, look a little to your left. You'll see two links. One is called "HTML is ON", and the other is called "UBB Code is ON". Clicking on these links will bring you to webpages describing how to use HTML and UBB codes. I recommend UBB codes.

Yea, I read it. So?
What part of that stuff are you prepared to explain or defend?

NosyNed responds to Newborn:
quote: Here, let me try to help Newborn choose something:
When the 'deep' was created, it was a black hole. Under gravity, it collapsed and the temperature, pressure and density increased to the stage where thermonuclear reactions occurred and nucleosynthesis took place. Excuse me? Nucleosynthesis in a black hole? Does the word "singularity" mean nothing to these people? You can't have nucleosynthesis in a black hole because that requires separate particles and there are no separate particles in a black hole because it is a singularity. We can put off the ridiculousness of the concept of a white hole spewing out highly organized matter and the simple math error regarding how quickly the earth would have to be moving in order to get 15 billion years to appear as only 6 days (and thus, questions about how the earth could survive the stresses and not be torn apart) for later. ------------------Rrhain WWJD? Hey Newborn, if I were thinking in the rain, I'd run too. (Just kidding.)
I read your link. Well, part of it anyway, because when I reached the term "creation week", I was incapacitated for at last half an hour. I'm still experiencing convulsions every now and then. I mean, imagine: God is lying on the couch, lazily watching TV, and suddenly he realises, with a start: "Oh, crikey, next week is creation week and my tux is still at the dry cleaner's." I'm sorry, but it's really hard for me to stay serious in the face of so much hilarious nonsense. I'm not even going to discuss it anymore, because I'll run the risk of being thrown off of the forum (if God doesn't smite me with some unspeakable horror first). So, good luck Newborn, and may the clouds above your head depart along with the fog inside it. Cheers. {edited to correct typo} [This message has been edited by Parasomnium, 07-20-2003]

Paramsonium, why did you makes fun of God.You had not yet made scientific discussions in this thread but you are only saying there are errors.

At any rate, Answers in Genesis is a YEC group. They don't buy into an old earth or universe, and reject the findings of much of modern science. It's hardly a group supporting the same kind of thing you're thinking about.

Paramsonium, why did you makes fun of God. Para didn't make fun of God. You did. Making up your own stories about what you would like to think God has done or not is what is doing it. They are so silly you make God sound very funny.

Oh,it was yours.
Ok,then considers the following situation. People in ancient time wanna to state a prophecy that in 20th century a man will go to a software company by car.At the company he made a work in Notebook.(he needs to put the electric switch first) So how will God say that? It will probably be something like "In the last days a man will mount his hourse and will go to a house where he will put a papyrus in a mirror and will start to write on it.But first he will have to put an animals tail in the mouth of another. Then the Lord will help him with a lightening bolt." Ok it could not be something very important but that is the only language they will understand. And a hourse IS NOT a car. God only speaks in our language. And usually incomprehensibly, it appears. If you take gibberish masquerading as "prophecy" and hammer it around enough, it'll fit some event somewhere. How do you think that the Weekly World News keeps getting mileage out of Nostradamus's nonsense?

You call this a reply?
You have said nothing at all about Isaiah 7, nor anything about the Virgin. Pardon me, in case you are dislexic, disphasic, catatonic or incontinent. I wouldn't want to offend anyone who is truly incompetent, but I must ask: Do you own a dictionary?Do you own a word program? Do you attend elementary school? Do you have spell-check on your email? Do you have no one who can help you write? Do you forget questions while seeking answers? Just curious. db

Newborn,
Why do I make fun of God? Although NosyNed pretty much said it all, I'd like to add this: You can't make fun of someone who does not exist. And if he does exist, he's probably laughing his Holy Ass off because of the drivel he reads in this here thread. A little humour from my side at his expense will only add to the merriment, if he is anywhere as intelligent as he's purported to be. Has the fog lifted yet? You didnt understand the purpose of that reply after all Paramsonium.
The purpose is to tell you that you couldnt laugh at something without dicuss it(It applies to all the text even the most absurd ones). In order to convince me you have to debate. And please forget the beggining of the threat.I recognize it has many errors.Concentrate only on the link i provided.

Hi, Newborn!
Concentrate only on the link i provided. Sorry to detect this so late, but you didn't provide any accompanying discussion for your link. Rule 5 of the Forum Guidelines states, Bare links with no supporting discussion should be avoided. Please describe the point you wish to make and that your link presumably supports. Thanks! --------------------Percy EvC Forum Administrator
