Re: change
Results of a godless public school system. Drugs, suicide, murder, lack of faith, violence, etc.
The Results of drinking coffee: Brain cancer, AIDS, Blindness, larger shoe size, etc.
Wow its fun to tie two unrelated subjects together.
Now for a serious note:
Come on man, how can you even hope to effectively argue against something you have no understanding of.
Evolution has absolutely NOTHING to do with how life was created. Doesn't matter if aliens from Mars did it or god did. Evolution is about how life went through mutations and grew more complex AFTER it was created. Also, evolution has as much support as the Theory of Gravity. So unless you support your statements with evidence you are just wasting our time.
And please do some research before you make assertions.

Re: plenty
Perhaps you could offer us some evidence that would refute what hitchy said instead of just saying "Your wrong!"

Re: plenty
I have no problem with a religious class that would teach creation stories. Creationism isn't science however, evolution is. So teaching creationism in a science class would be deceiving the kids.
Please, I beg of you, back up your claims that evolution isn't real science.

Re: Oh, no God
no you don't it is a religion. It's also hypocritical to deny it. It's faith, and doctrine, no more married to science than creation is. Say it all you want it just ain't so, sorry, the jigs up!
Provide support for your statements or STFU.

Re: then again if it were either or..?
Depends if I am forced to pay for it, deny my faith, and have my kids perform satanic rituals during the half time, and wear darwin tee shirts.
And amazingly public schools don't require any of those things!
I don't like religion, myself, in the sense that religious people killed Jesus and cause so much war! To me religion is the last thing I want. But as far as getting to know Jesus, and the Bible, and His presence, protection, provision, salvation, etc. I think they need it. If they don't get it at home, if they lost their parents, or were ripped away from their parents by the state, then I'd like them to at least have a chance to learn about how we didn't just all climb out od a tree-and are just animals, in a world that just slopped itself together, may crash into the sun, and there is nothing more in or after this life.
Wow.......there are just no words for this much ignorance.
So far all I have heard from you is the "You're wrong, I'm right" deal.
Let me ask you a serious question, do you really believe the stuff you are saying? Because I am starting to wonder how a person could be so disconnected from reality in this day and age.

Re: hitchy learned here
Ok 14gipper, stop babbling about anti-god education and provide some scientific evidence that Evolution is false. Once you do this I will agree that it shouldn't be taught in schools.

Re: I want my money back!
Please show evidence that god exists and that he is indeed a christain god. Doing so will make your argument much stronger.

Re: self creating accidents
14gipper,
Please provide scientific evidence that there is in fact a god and that Evolution never took place, and if you can't do that then support your statements that the Theory of Evolution is "Anti-God".
And while you're at it provide evidence that God is really a Christian god.
Once you do so I will fully support the removal of Evolution from schools and the reinstatement of prayer.

Re: the last laugh
Let's not be like the graffiti someone saw years ago in Europe. 'God is dead, Nitzhe' then years later he returned to the same spot to see it crossed out, and replaced with 'Nitzhe is dead, God'.
But of course you can't forget that a few years later it said,"Nitzhe is God, Dead."
But on a more serous note, where did you get the info for the last post? The bible, right? Where else can you show us some objective evidence that Jesus did the things you claim or even existed for that matter? So, unless you want to embrace the joys of circular reasoning I suggest you find a different, more objective source.
