Re: Reptiles and Dinosaurs
Again, Bluejay, neither you or any other evolutionist is ever going to acknowledge evidence of a higher intelligence if you were wading knee deep in it. To acknowledge just one eensy little bit of something supernatural would would utterly demolish your whole evolutionist premise. It would be the 9/11 demolition of your twin towers of the BB and evolution.
If I was wading "knee deep in in evidence of a higher intelligence," then there would be evidence and thus I could accept that, but since there is no such "wading evidence" I stand pat. The problem with the creationist is, rather than show evidence that their ideas are correct, they continually simply try to debunk evolution, the big bang etc. Debunking science doesn't prove creation. It would simply mean that there was some other source, you would still have to show evidence to show that creation was that other source.

Re: Where are the bones?
the point is, that IS what the word means....its a desciptive word.
If dinosaurs dont mean that, then they should change the name to what they believe it means.
There are many descriptive words which do not mean what they describe.
Orangutan = man of the woods
Fliedermaus = bat (literally flying mouse)
is a Tasmanian devil a demon from Tasmania or a marsupial?
none of these descriptive words means what it describes.

Re: Evidence Of Curse
You're right. If there was a flood and a different earrth surface topography and atmosphere the pre-flood element makeup would have been such that radiometric dating would be skewed, Imo.
That would have no effect on radioactive decay. Elements decay the same on earth, the moon, the sun and anyplace else in the universe. There is no physical means to change decay rates other than changing the isotopes which would only occur by a continuous neutron beam hitting all the atoms of a particular isotope changing into another isotope. Never happens or happened.

The top photo is a dimetrodon which is a Therapsid one of the "mammal like reptiles" not closely related to lizards in fact more closely related to mammals than to the living reptile families.
