Message: the particular posted message number Your nomination should include a link to the nominated article, and a short comment on why you are nominating (or seconding). I think another nice touch is to include the authors name and topic/thread title as a subtitle. As always, this is not a thread for debates. Posts should be limited to nomination, seconds, acceptance statements by nominee.

If you look at Schraf's nomination in Message 3, this is the portion of your post she quoted that in her mind made it worthy of POTM:

It isn't related to the topic. If I thought your posts were out of line I would have said something in that thread, but they almost exclusively directly address the topic, they're very informative, and they reflect knowledge and study. I objected to Schraf's POTM nomination, not your posts. I don't want to see any more posts nominated simply because they contain a particularly biting personal criticism of someone disliked.

I don't want to see any more posts nominated simply because they contain a particularly biting personal criticism of someone disliked. yes, ok, i understand that. makes sense now.

Sorry this reply took so long, but I just recently stumbled across this thread. I didn't know it existed before 5 minutes ago  Thank you for the nomination and the only answer I have for you is to post while slightly tipsy after after a 10 hour shift. The staff of the restaurant we just opened - that day actually - went out to celebrate and I had a couple glasses of wine. Wine brings out the writer in me.
