Forum: Suggestions and Questions Thread: What to do with Brad? (Yet another Brad McFall topic) Post #: 55 OK, nothing really profound. But I found the situation funny, and I thought it worth flagging. It very well could have been AdminAsgara wondering "What's going on here?". Adminnemooseus

Post: 157 Loudmouth writes: Science is a cold, hard, unforgiving, and careless bitch, and I love it for this very reason. Science is a tool that doesn't care what your feelings are. Science is a method that never considers how conclusions may bruise your ego or your worldview. Science is a machine that will chew you up and spit your out without blinking an eye. No one should ever go to the world of science expecting to be comforted or to feel better about themselves. Science is the extention of pure logic and reason. I love it when he talks dirty... And boy, is he right! Beautifully said, Loud.

A very interesting analysis. Maestro might want to pay attention. This message has been edited by NosyNed, 12-17-2004 04:58 PM

Forum: The Bible: Accuracy and Inerrancy Thread: How Can Trinity Believers Explain This Post #: 226 Been paying very little attention to this topic, but Truthlover's back, and this one caught my attention. I think Truthlover is like Bill Birkeland - Pretty much anything he posts is in POTM territory. It seems that the science based topics get all the POTM mentions. Someone needs to watch out for the theological gems also. Moose Added by edit: Thanks to William Scott Anderson and his posts that guided me to Truthlover's message. Added by second edit: Looking at the last 2 pages, kudos probably should go to most or all of the participents in the cited topic. Maybe because, although I think Andya is top notch, and really appreciate the effort he put into that translation, I tend to reserve my POTM nominations for people who present their own works, words or opinions. IOW, that wasn't a POTM - even though it represented a tremendous amount of effort to translate and I found it very interesting.
Sorry, Andya. That's just the way I do it. Others, obviously, disagree.

A summary and a rather complete one about what has to be rejected for YEDism to work.

Forum: Coffee House Thread. The Christmas Thread Message 1, op This's gotta not only be the post of posts for this month of December, 2004, but, imo, one of the best, if not the best, opening posts of the year. Rocky topped the year off with this splendid post, so completely non-confrontal and thought out so as to put us all in a festive and all-inclusive congenial mood for the Christmas season. He topped it off by his recognition and appreciation for all members, regardless of ideology. Hats off to this inspiring year's end contribution from our Irish friend. Thanks, Rocky!! {Made "1" a clickable link - AM} This message has been edited by Adminnemooseus, 12-24-2004 11:46 PM
