Does God really exist?
Maybe. No way to know for sure at this point in time. If I see him or see concrete verifiable scientific evidence for his existance I will get back to you all on this. Until then I believe the matter to be moot either way. I understand that it is imparative for a Christian to believe that God does in fact exist. But faith is faith and the very tenet of faith is to believe without evidence. So why do Christians need proof? I know atheist and agnostics would be very interested in proof, but there has been little in the way of "proof' to be seen as of late. This still does not refute God's existance. Just his complete lack of leaving evidence. That is if he exists. JMHO.

does God exist ?
I use to believe in the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus.
My parents like many others would take a bite out of the cookie to leave proof that Santa did indeed visit. I would defend to the end Santas existance when the older kids chastized me for believing. I absolutely could not understand how blind they were not to believe what I knew was true. Well I am older now and as painful as it was I had to eventually accept the bitter truth. Santa was on a diet and did not really eat those cookies.

Creation man many of the people on this forum have read and studied the bible and are or were Christians. I have found that it is the literalist, fundalmentalist, YEC's that tend to have closed minds and are illogical. What is logical about creation mythology explaining the universe? What makes your version of how the Earth was created any more creditable than the American Indians version? Or the Hindu version? or the Norse version? Is it not Christians who claim to have the only right answers? Is it not Christians who condemn anyone who does not believe they're story of Jesus, will burn in hell for all eternity? Who is illogical and closed minded? *edit to correct creditable
