Does God Really Exist???

I really cannot believe that people who profess to be Christians, and profess to have studied the Bible, think that Mark and Luke were eyewitnesses. 'Mark' and 'Luke' never even knew Jesus, in fact, Jesus was decomposing in his grave long before Luke had even heard of him. This is using information from the Gospels according to Mark and Luke, I wonder why the word 'according' is used?Brian.

Hi,My sources are the Gospel of Mark and the Gospel of Luke. Both inform the reader that they personally didn't know Jesus. Mark wrote down Peter's memories, Luke wrote down alleged testimonies of eyewitnesses, none of this pair were actual eyewitnesses.I am not just saying this to be argumentative, but I found Strobels' Case for Christ to be utter nonsense. He was a court reporter yet in his book he never interviewed one person that belonged to the opposition, some trial when you have no prosecution witnesses.Brian.

Hi,I think this is probably the most ignorant thing I have ever heard in my life: How on earth do you come to the conclusion that an atheist lives a life without love, or has a worthless life.If an athiest life is worthless, what do you call a life following ancient Hebrew myths as if they are real?I am actually glad that I am no longer a Christian because living a life in delusion, following embarrassing mythologies as if they are true really is such a waste of life. According to Christian mythology everyone will be judged not just dictators and criminals. The very sad thing about Christianity is that these dictators can repent and be saved whilst the people who harm no one can go to Hell if they do not subscribe to your erroneous soteriolgy.Christians also have as much historical evidence as mormons do, the Bible is not a very good history book, anyway, mormons are Christians.Finally, since you are so keen on the 'Book of the Romans', (I personally always thought it was called 'Letter to the Romans) you will know why dictators are allowed to rule.Brian.
