y r u unable to use words like "why are you".
Capital letters are also nice touches.
Grow up and get serious here. This isn't a disposable chat line.

insist?
It is for your own good. If you want to be taken seriously you have to project the best possible image.
Carelessness makes your thoughts look careless too.

those books were wrong because they contradicted the rest of the bible, god would not say something and then dissagree with himself. and i didnt find them to be false the puritan did.
the King James Bible does a good Job Contradicting itself it doesn't need extra books to do it heh...
mine is true because it is the most accurate, most anyone will tell u that, its the most accurate because so many translated it and aggreed that the synonyms used were as accurate as they r going to get, by the way the king james points out the word that were added to make more sense very clearly, unlike most other bibles. and yes i agree with u lam it must have some inaccuracys but its the most accurate translation there is, if u could read the original languages that the bible was written in great, but most cant.
Where is the evidence that anything in your Bible is true? without Evidence I can say a god farted and thats what the big Bang was and that would be Just as correct as your Bible is.
So why are Hindus, Muslums etc... wrong?
you must have a reason to think so.. Unless the only reason is Because you where brought up Christen? But how does that Make it Correct?
if u r an athiest y r u defending the catholic church?
Who said I was defending them? Just bringing up issues

Teen15m6,
Here's a suggestion, open up a word document and copy and paste the text you want to post into that document. Then run a spell check. Once the spell check is finished you should read over what you wrote. It helps if you say it out loud. Once you are sure there are no mistakes, copy and paste the corrected text back into the reply box and you should to be ready to go.
Also, you should avoid saying that something is a fact when you lack the evidence to support it. Statements like "There is a god and he is going to send you to hell." Should be avoided because you have no evidence that supports the statement. Feel free to say "According to the Bible there is a god and he is going to send you to hell." OR "In my opinion there is a god and he is going to send you to hell." Because when you say that something is a fact you are obligated to provide the evidence that supports it.
Third and final suggestion, stick to one topic. This thread would go alot smoother if you picked one subject to argue and then stuck with that subject.

Would you please show me where the King James Bible contradicts itself?
And even if it did its still more accurate than the catholics Bible.
Ok here is some evidence, though it wont be enough for you.
You know the story of moses? how he parted the Red Sea? and Pharo and his army came after him? and God drowned him and his army? well scientist found the chariots they were riding in, at the bottom of the Red Sea.
You know the story of Babel? when God burned the whole city? well scientist believe they have found it, all thats left is sulfur and ashes, they burned some of the sulfur in a spoon and it melted the spoon allmost instantly.
Scientist have also found the Ark if i am not mistaken.
And just seemed to me u were defending them. sorry.
As far as Hindus go i know nothing about thier Religeon.
And Muslims are wrong because they believe that thier savior is Muhammad, he didnt die for them, he didnt live a sin free life, they also believe that Jesus was a mere prophet, wich he wasnt.

Actually teen,
The Gulf of Aqaba chariot wheels, the sulpher from Sodom, the Ark...those finds are NOT from scientists. They are from a man named Ron Wyatt and none of these things he claimed to have found have been seen by anyone else.
Anchor Stone International - Ron Wyatt, Noah's Ark, Sodom & Gomorrah, Red Sea Crossing, Ark of the Covenant
Ron Wyatt Archaeological Research Fraud Documentation (WAR, W.A.R.)

teen, the idea isn't to take anything from us without research either. Read both sides of the issues, see who makes the better argument, who has the better facts, who's theories fit the facts better. NEVER take anything from anyone without checking into it yourself.

Believe me when i say "i will."
Anyways i think the main issue here is wich Bible is "The Bible", and out of all the Bibles in English, The King James Bible is without a doubt the most accurate Translation from the Original Transcripts.

Here is a thread from one of our OT experts, Brian, concerning "The" bible.
http://EvC Forum: There is no such thing as The Bible
Amlodhi, Doctrbill, and ConsequentAtheist are three other posters you might want to look for. All are very knowledgable concerning the OT.

This topic seems to have been badly highjacked for the intent of message 1:
quote:
This topic is a difficult one and is one that hurts me also.
My family aren't Christians, my mother beleves in Jesus and my aunt is born again but the rest of them (including my brothers who I love dearly) don't beleve. My husband family are all devout Christians and have been all their lives.
This is a very sad situation for me because I want my family to go to heaven too but what it comes down to is that it tells you clearly in the bible what you have to do and it's up to the indavidual to beleve.
All I can do is pray for them and try to help them.
As for being happy in heaven, we will not only get a new body but God will fill us with peace, no person can understand this because it's beyond our understanding but heaven is described a beautiful place with streets of gold and will be a wonderful place to be where we will spend eternity with God.
I'll dump it off on the Queen, to guide things as she sees fit.

Then please please please stop dumping these nonsense here. You've said this before, that you'd research things out first. Yet, we continue to see all these incredible sh*t some liars crapped out distributed by you on here.
And by the way, another reason why you should use proper words with the best spellings you can possibly come up with is to make it easier for people like me, who doesn't know English as their first and primary language, to read. It is painful for me to have to decipher run-ons and people's short-hands.
It has been a long habit of mine to ignore entire posts because of obvious grammar errors that could have been fixed easily.
