Re: Message #1 revisited
There are mistranslations of Isaiah being propagated to this very day, purposeful mistranslations too!
For example, they are still insisting that ALmah means virgin, when it means no such thing.

Re: Missing the point
Why, yes it has changed. The 'bible' has been translated, and mistranslated for one. And second of all, what constitutes the 'bible' has changed. Before a certain timeframe, there was no set canon about what constituted the Bible, or what constituted the tankah.
The text of Isaiah might not have changed all that much. What constitutes the Tankah has. Also, what is considered part of CHristian scriptures has changed. The council of Nicea formalised what they thought should be considered scripture. The church in rome also went on a program to destroy as much 'competing' scripture as they could.

Re: How sure are you about the authenticity of Dead Sea Scrolls
At this point, it is very certain that the DDS are authentic. They used archelogical, palenography, and carbon 14 dating.

Source? The links I have to that refer to that does not mention that.
The only source I find about your claim is an Islamic site that is claming a lot of Christian and Jewish forgeries.. and is hardly what
I consider an unbiased site.

Re: How sure are you about the authenticity of Dead Sea Scrolls
The only place I can find that quote in that source is an fundamentalist
islamic site, and not from the source. All other references I can find to that source does not have those references in it.
Do you have a link that discusses it that is NOT an fundamentalist islamic web site?

Re: How sure are you about the authenticity of Dead Sea Scrolls
I checked that source, and can't find the information you are claiming.
The only source seems to be the place you cut/paste this information from , which is http://www.islam-is-the-only-solution.com/scrolls.htm
I would say that you are taking information from a biased, bigoted source.. and do not have access to the original material.

Re: How sure are you about the authenticity of Dead Sea Scrolls
I don't see you using hardcore facts. Your reliance on an islamic web site for your information is showing you are using a double standard.

Re: How sure are you about the authenticity of Dead Sea Scrolls
I have read the dead sea scroll deception. It has some information, and a lot of paranoia, sly accusations, and conspiracy theories. SOmehow, people insinuating vast conspiracies just doesn't cut it with me.
I did not see any information about any Arabic scrolls from the 10th century in there. There was some information about the Isaiah scroll.
