Jesus didn't have to warn us, this is why god doesn't just show up, cause people won't believe him anyway. I didn't explain it away.I just explained it in a way that didn't require magic.I have no idea if god stopped the wave where he was. However, if he did, then why didn't he stop the whole wave from killing the 140,000 people?Seems like another one of those "we understand the ways of God when good things happen but when bad things happen, we find the ways of god very mysterious" moments.

Most of the times, ussually, when bad things happen, guess what. GOD DIDN'T DO IT!!!! We did, and so did nature. God had a really nice system going, but we sinned, so god let it become a mess as punishment for our sins. God does not wan't people to goto hell but he cannot do anything against his nature. He has 2 basic natures:1. Just
2. LovingHe cannot reject one or the other. So he sen't his son on the cross to carry out his justice, and at the same time, so his love. All you have to do is accept. IT IS SO EASY.So if you find yourself burning up in hell, it's your own falt.
God did everything he could for you. He isn't gona pop out a know where and say "FOLLOW ME". That makes sense ya know.Just follow your children around all day and make sure they still love you. The point is it really doesn't matter what the Bible says. Earthquakes and Tsunamis will happen regardless.But you try to connect the recent tsunami to some vague end-time vision that not even all Bible scholars agree is prophetic. We'll I don't remember Jesus spending all that much time talking about tsunamis. Well,I certainly believe in Jesus, just not in some vague end-times prophecy. And I certainly don't believe in a GOD that would willfully kill hundreds of thousands to send a telegram. But there has been no evidence offered that shows any connection between the tsunami and any Biblical prophecy and even less between the tsunami any hypothetical End-Time. Not at all, not CHRISTIANS, only some really sick christians. And I don't have to do much. What they do and say on their own lets folk know just how sick they are. Now that certainly lets folk know just what kind of a Christian you are. LOL

Right, I knew you weren't passing judgement. I was just pointing something out. I try to see things from both sides as much as I can.
If a Christian had said that, he would have heard it, I'm sure. But I understand where your coming from. Yes and no. I made up my mind a long time ago when trying to figure out end time stuff, and God sending us his wrath, using nature. I decided like you, I am not going to worry about it, I will just live my life like he is coming tomorrow, or I could die tomorrow.God did curse the land, so yes, all of these disasters could not be he's wrath, or punishment from him. The important thing is that we do not try and judge if it is or isn't.
I would think that it would happen more like the OT anyway, where a prophet would come along and at least warn us first, then it would make it more valid.
Our rewards and punishments, and trials come here on earth too. It's all about being obedient to him.Also remember that nothing happens except by the will of the Father. So in a matter of speaking, yes the Tsunami was from him. But was it his wrath? Not for us to judge. Is it a sign of the end times? I don't think so. Thank you very much. I am still learning.
In this forum, its hard to talk about these things without sounding like your putting judgement on people. It also has taught me how to be more Christian, along with other training I am going through.
We say and do things and have no clue how we affect people with our words. As a Christian, we should be leading the way in demostrating truth and love. But it starts with ourselves.
People want to Christians for the light, and love, and when they don't see it (like when a priest molests a child) It turns them away.
All this light and love does not come to us unless we are in constant contact with the father. I give the battles to him, let him deal with the wrath, and the idiots. That puts me free and clear to love people, even if they hurt me, or others.

Why are you excluding only certain parts of my post to make me look bad?Bible prophecy is not vauge, it is very percise. There is actually, a THIS WILL, and THEN THIS, in the bible.
