Converting raw energy into biological energy

I don't see what abiogenesis has to do with organisms using "raw energy". The first abiogenetic life-forms could/would have survived by "eating" chemicals. Photosynthesis could/would have developed later.You're talking about the evolution of metabolism, not abiogenesis.

Rob's argument is essentially the same as the argument that was once used against manned flight - it hasn't been done yet, so it can't be done.He has been shown that birds can fly and his only response is that men are not birds.He has failed to demonstrate any fundamental obstacle.
