I like this explanation, can I quote it for future reference? It will avoid creationists muddling the issue with their "information theory".

I would like to know where you got your information on the time it takes for a mutation to fix in a population. Shouldn't it be dependant on the size of the population? The number calculed this way isn't very useful if you don't know how many mutations occur at the same time. For example, during the 300 generations the mutation fix itself into the population, many others mutation must be occuring.
