As far as Terri goes, It was believed that Terri's neck might have been injured similar to being stranglation. The only way to prevent Congress from asking such questions of Terri's husband was to pull the plug. In fact to prevent an autopsy to check for neck injury Terri's husband cremated her remains.
P.S. It sounds too me that Terri's husband only interest was to terminate Terri. This is an example of (We the Judges) not (We the People). As far as Chavez goes it probably is a muslim plot to control all the oil in the world. He is pro-Iran, Pro-Cuba, Pro-Russia, etc... However, I kind of wish America was as concerned about national soveignty as Chavez. Are the democrats as anti-america as Chavez? Nothing wrong with like drilling for oil in Alaska (alternative energies too). Its like our worst enemies (Democrats) are in Washington fighting the will of the people by not allowing: new electric plants, new refineries, don't burn coal, don't want no energy policy, etc...which only keeps prices high. How is high prices good for Americans? The suns increasing energies so perhaps a little more air pollution would increase acid rain, and shield the sun a bit. Wouldn't that be a good thing? The solution to pollution being dilution, a little acid rain would release more of the minerals in the soil, which could be a good thing. It would take a whole lot of acid rain to affect the bio system due to dilution and the buffering capacity of soils. This is a bit off topic just to show that the republicans are looking for solutions, the Chavez problem, liberals environmental nonsense, Irans nucleur defiance(talk about a sucide bomb), etc... The watchmen sound the warning, but they (democrats) refuse to hear, so thats a big problem with the democratic party. Perhaps the republicans really are the good eggs & the democrats rotted eggs. I wouldn't go as far as Pat's little nuggets but how far would Chavez go(who cares but the watchmen), Who cares about the democrats agenda to push their agenda (don't drill in alaska, more government regulations, don't you dare build more refineries, don't need an energy policy, etc...) none of which is in the US interests. The liberals want silk gloves used, while people like Chavez have a whole different interest. No wonder Chavez is anti-bush, anti-Pat, etc.. Chavez obviously would rather have liberals in charge who wear silk gloves rather than seasoned warriors like Pat, Bush, etc... Churchill was a good guy, Chamberlain was a silk glove liberal that called the enemy his friend, etc...I kind of worry that you all might be right that the two horns on the lamb that speaks as the dragon in revelations is the repubican and democratic party. The republican party however is more pro-active finding solutions to the energy problems while the democrats solutions is stick your heads in the sand. (don't drill, silk gloves, no coal plants, pour milk on the ground, pour water in the california desert, don't interogate terrorists, don't dare wiretap terrorists phone lines, etc.... Truly the democrats have no interests in protecting americans from the hawks like Chavez, etc...They simply believe like Chamberlain that our enemies are really our friends, while they prevent cheaper utilities for the American people. The watchmen warned us years ago, but no one listened. Now utilities are so high the average family is streached to cope, curtosy of a the environmental law of the democratic activist judges.

In fact to prevent an autopsy to check for neck injury Terri's husband cremated her remains. That's a flat-out lie. An autopsy was performed; no evidence of wrongdoing was found. What was found was nearly complete CNS atrophy; Terri had no brain. Recovery, or even consciousness, was absolutely out of the question. She was an empty shell, and the autopsy removed all doubt.
It sounds too me that Terri's husband only interest was to terminate Terri. A devoted husband carrying out his wife's last wish. It shocks you that he was determined about it? We should all hold such determination for those we love.
The suns increasing energies so perhaps a little more air pollution would increase acid rain, and shield the sun a bit. Wouldn't that be a good thing? What? No. Acid rain doesn't shield anything.
Chavez obviously would rather have liberals in charge who wear silk gloves rather than seasoned warriors like Pat, Bush, etc... "Seasoned warriors"? Neither one of those people are warriors. Pat never served; Bush served in a champagne unit sorting mail. Not exactly what I would call "seasoning."

The thread is titled "Who represents Christians if Falwell, Dobson and Robertson don't?" I understand that you are replying to posts that bring up Schiavo, Chavez and other issues, but those posts were on the topic of Falwell, Dobson, and Robertson. Your post is NOT on topic. Please make a better effort to keep to topical issues. AdminAsgara Queen of the Universe Comments on moderation procedures (or wish to respond to admin messages)? - Go to:

I had high hopes that this topic could discuss alternatives to the Christian right. Fat chance of that happening.
Golfer - That first posting of yours in this topic was really something else, and it wasn't a good something else. It clearly marked the point where this topic took a turn for the worst. ...The Simpsons ... That 70s Show... those happen to be very good shows. i regularly watch that 70's show with my parents. and the simpsons takes a suprisingly compassionate view on christian fundamentalism. ned flanders isn't there to make them look stupid, or idiotic, or laughable. there's quite a lot of actual depth there.

Crash, there is no need to be so belligerent. What's belligerent? He made a false statement. I haven't attacked him personally. I don't see any belligerence in my post; just brevity.
