That might make a nice antiBush ad. He admits he sent men to die in battle, and then loved their wives.
Study your Bible, people! This brought down King David!

We withstood a horrific act of terrorism
Uhhh... Not sure if you are up for facts or not, but it actually was a successful attack. It did just about all the damage it was going to do. They had not even anticipated the full after effects of the crashes at the WTC.
We didn't withstand it, all of us not in the immediate vicinity naturally survived and those in the vicinities cleaned up afterward.
and with all the might of our military destroyed the Taliban
The Taliban is no longer in control of Kabul but is still around within Afghanistan. By the way so is Al Qaida. The Taliban had nothing to do with 9-11, that was AlQaida. Not that I'm not glad they stood by AQ and so got tossed out of power afterward.
and freed Iraq.
Iraq is sill not actually free and is not guaranteed to be free, and by the way had nothing to do with 9-11.
Whats next? Who wants some of this?
I think you can still get rabies shots at the emergency room if you hurry.

This brought down King David!
That's who he's trying to be anyway right? Or some weird moses/jesus/david hybrid?
I was also a bit perplexed when he said we had climbed the mountain and he saw the valley below and it is peace. It sounded like he wanted to finish with amen.

The funny thing is I do not see a mass exodus of Anti-American Americans fleeing our borders for some reason.
Well hell, dude, where do you think they can go where they won't get shot at because of people like you?

So now Fox News is reduced to actually making shit up in order to make John Kerry look bad:
quote:
Is Fox News literally making stuff up out of whole cloth about John Kerry?
I don't expect much from this Republican operation. But this does seem to break new ground.
If you go to the front page of the Fox News site, there's a link right there up front to "Trail Tales: What's that Face".
Link through and you find this ...
quote:
Rallying supporters in Tampa Friday, Kerry played up his performance in Thursday night's debate, in which many observers agreed the Massachusetts senator outperformed the president.
"Didn't my nails and cuticles look great? What a good debate!" Kerry said Friday.
With the foreign-policy debate in the history books, Kerry hopes to keep the pressure on and the sense of traction going.
Aides say he will step up attacks on the president in the next few days, and pivot somewhat to the domestic agenda, with a focus on women and abortion rights.
"It's about the Supreme Court. Women should like me! I do manicures," Kerry said.
Kerry still trails in actual horse-race polls, but aides say his performance was strong enough to rally his base and further appeal to voters ready for a change.
"I'm metrosexual he's a cowboy," the Democratic candidate said of himself and his opponent.
A "metrosexual" is defined as an urbane male with a strong aesthetic sense who spends a great deal of time and money on his appearance and lifestyle.
Now Fox has pulled the article from the front page without explanation. And on the article itself the passages I quoted in the post below have all been removed -- again, without explanation.

That's who he's trying to be anyway right? Or some weird moses/jesus/david hybrid?
Let's just say I'm glad I already lost my foreskin.
I was also a bit perplexed when he said we had climbed the mountain and he saw the valley below and it is peace. It sounded like he wanted to finish with amen.
That was kind of annoying, but what really got me was at the end, when he subtly associated his re-election with God's continued blessing on America.

He's going to be so surprised when he finds out that I haven't been plessing America for the last 2 years or so.

Josh Marshall rocks! If Kerry becomes president, he should be thanking the hell out of the liberal bloggers.
Want some more goodies on Faux? Check out these pics:
and
both pics from foxnews.com
I didn't realize that Bush was almost as tall as Kerry? Interesting. What are those Conservatives media outlets feedin' their boy there?

Editor's Note
Earlier Friday, FOXNews.com posted an item purporting to contain quotations from Kerry. The item was based on a reporter’s partial script that had been written in jest and should not have been posted or broadcast. We regret the error, which occurred because of fatigue and bad judgment, not malice.

"Fatigue and bad judgement?"
Please pardon my language, but this has got to be the lamest fucking excuse I've ever seen from a media outlet! FATIGUE?!?!? Are you serious Faux? Posting in jest? Are they actually thinking we would be buying that?
Unfucking believable.

I dislike Fox as well, but I am willing to let this one slide. Just them admitting they were wrong is music in my ears.

I thought he did that at the beginning when he references the hurricane which just swept through the area.

Okay, Buz. I'll bite. Given that your ideology is in line with Bush's, what would you say was defensible about Bush's performance in that debate? How, exactly, could one say with some validity that Bush won?
I didn't say Bush won. I didn't watch the whole thing so I don't know. I simply stated my opinion on how these debates are judged.
