Re: Isaiah 40:31
apostolos
Does this mean that believers in the LORD will never be tired? No. The larger context makes it clear that those who are in dependence upon the LORD will be provided the strength and/or energy to accomplish that which is required as they individually place themselves in a resting position in God's plan, like a leaf being carried by a stream current. Please understand that I do not mean that a believer is to be inactive. Rather I am saying it is the strength of the LORD that makes the activity productive according to the plan that the LORD has established for that individual. Psalm 1 serves as an excellent support to this truth.
This somehow does not square with the verse here.
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their
strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk,
and not faint."
To run and not to weary is pretty much a definitive staement. It reads to me as a statement of being unlimited in the ability to run. Are we to assume that those who believe never fail in their task? I also would like to know how you square up the statement "that which is required as they individually place themselves in a resting position in God's plan" with a free will.If god is interfering by supplying strength then he is altering an outcome that would otherwise happened which,in turn, neglects the choice of others involved with this person.
I am sorry I find this a poor apologetics.

Re: Isaiah 40:31
I have a definition of God (though I would disagree and say that I merely aggree with the Bible's definition).
Whenever you reach a consensus please share it with us.

Really? If they never tire how could they possibly stop hoping in the lord? They get lazy? They cannot get lazy because they can never tire.

A centipede was happy quite, until a toad in fun
Said, "Pray, which leg comes after which?'
This raised his doubts to such a pitch
He fell distracted in the ditch
Not knowing how to run.

Re: Yourself

Let us review the arguement here
they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
So if we find an example of a born again Chrstian who gets tired this would mean what exactly?

Yes they are. The arguement is that the verse quoted states that they will not tire to which you say that if such occurs then it is because they stopped hoping in god.I said how can they lose hope if they are not getting tired ever?
Since you are the one arguing that lack of hope is the reason for getting tired you need to straighten out the point of your assertion.

Re: Yourself
This debate reminds me of 2nd grade.
Taking the OT out of context again, Born again and the verse you quote are from 2 different times, lets keep them separate.
It's been explained to, sorry if you don't get it.
It's pretty freakin basic, if you hope, you get energy, to do his works, or wahtever God wants you to do.
When you stop hoping, it goes away.
Energy does not give you hope.

Do fully understand what the term "born again" means?
This discussion is over.

If hope=energy then can I hope my furnace to work?
Or can I just hope for food and recieve energy?
I usally feel much more hopeful when I'm energetic.

Yes, if your furnace is full of demons, or needs to be free of it's sins.
Way to take a statement out of context. I guess that is a strawman?
Or can I just hope for food and recieve energy?
God will provide, that is a promise.
I usally feel much more hopeful when I'm energetic.
Usually, but not all the time, that's my point, thank you for proving it.

But hold on, I thought we were responsible for ourselves on this planet. If god will provide food, why not stop floods? Or does your christian god get fun out of those? why interfer in one situation and not in another?

God will provide, that is a promise.
How can a being outside our comprehension provide?
How can god make a promise?
