i know for a fact that fossilized human footprints were found right next to dinosaur foot prints, and they were huge! prooving that humans were on earth at the same time as dinosaurs, thats y i wanted to know if we ever found a fosilized human.
For one thing, that supposed footprint have never been confirmed by mainstream science. For all we know, it could be nothing more than a rock that shaped similarly but bigger than the human foot. I have often found rocks that have the same shape as the states. It doesn't mean anything.
By the way, science doesn't prove anything. It only present logical and consistent evidence for people to come up with theories. Science *ain't* math or philosophy.

You don't know that for a fact, because it's not true. The footprint you've seen isn't a human foot. It doesn't even look like a footprint!
You're misinformed, I hate to tell you. There are no instances of human and dinosaur co-habitation because dinosaurs died out 65 million years before the dawn of man.

if I am my mother's descendant, why is she still running around?
Answer: Derivation of a creature from another does not imply the extinction of its ancestor.

As far as fossilized man goes, no. They have only found fossilized footprints of primates that CAN very well be man's ancestors.
Uh-hum. There are quite a few fossils of ancient men... Australopithecus, Homo erectus, Neanderthals...

Not that hardly anyone's going to see this message, before it gets buried... But for the record I consider this topic to be a babble-fest.
It could go to the "Misc. Topics", or it could go to the "Free For All", but I've going to let it pile up right where it is.
Maybe tommorrow I'll get on the hip boots, to check things out.
Triumph the Dog would love this topic.
Cheers,

Sounds like a hit and run creo.
*shrug*
Maybe he will come back later with a slightly more.... intellectual argument against evolution than the good old monkey existance question.

Little late for April Fool's Day!
Ok, so who is trying to play the joke?
Anyway, the footprints that were seen as "human" were merely eroded dinosaur footprints and parts of dinosaur prints. The stride was too long to be from a man (or woman). "But these are the giants of old from Genesis"! Ok, so this is the only evidence of these giants? Granted, this was in Texas so maybe all the evidence was burned as a low-energy, high-pollution cheap source of fuel!
Interesting...some of the fossilized footprints were actually vandalized. I mean, someone took a chisel and attempted to make some of the footprints look more human!?! I never ceases to amaze me how some christians have no problem breaking one of their commandments (thou shalt not bear false witness) in order to save the others and their religious viewpoints. It is amazing our society has made it this far. I am just waiting for the witch burnings and blood-letting to come back. Anyone else up for a new Inquisition?

This is jumping the gun a bit. My understanding is that a fair bit of (admitted) "improving" of the footprints was done in the (first) depression to lure the gullible tourist and bring money to the {locals not necessarily christian}

ok, the neanderthal man turned out to be an old guy wit arthritis, the homo erectus, wich one would that be? the peking man? the piltdown man? the nebraska man? the hieldelberg man? all proven to be fakes, were did i get that we came from monkeys? evolution! u dissagree? what did we evolve from? if u dissagree then u are against the very thing u r defending, and as far as those footprints go they went on for a very long ways, and the stride was too big because the human was too big, u say they r deformed dinosaur footprints? y arent the dinosaur footprints right beside them deformed?
evolution, one thing to another is a fair definition, evolution is when an error occurs in the gene pool, no error could ever occur to cahnge it from one thing to another, mutations are found all over, 2 headed snakes, three legged horses, even in humans, there heads could be joined together, but no matter the error, it will never become anything other than what it allready is, take the new rat they found, can they prove it wasnt there all along? and just what is it that stops it from mating wit other rats? just because it looks diferent, acts diferent, is bigger, is stronger, does not make it a new specie, are blacks a diferent specie from us? they look diferent, they act diferent, because of circumstances, the chinese, were they a new specie when we discovered them? or were we a new specie when they discovered us? no.

Neandertals are not all old guys with arthritis.
Homo erectus is represented by a good many specimens including Peking Man.
Nebraska Man was a short-lived mistake, not a fake
Heidelberg Man is a genuine fossil.
Look if you want some real facts why not start here:
Fossil Hominids: the evidence for human evolution
You've been fed a lot of misinformation
