Actually, think about it. Instead of earthquake, we get a super flare inside our own solar system. The parts of the Earth that are affected won't be able to communicate with other parts. We'll just see total communication blackouts from other parts of the Earth.

Hi everyone, been awhile. Taz, hitch hikers guide to the galaxy was my favorite book growing up. I passed out after reading it.You shouldn't look at the events taking place today as a sign that there is no God. If anything, this idiot Harold Camping just proves what the bible teaches us, that there will be many false profits. If you truly study the bible, it teaches us that everyday is a judgement day of sorts, and that everything we do in life will be judged. People are not saved once, they are saved every minute of every day.Any fool who tries to predict judgement day can't be reading the bible.Mark 13

ASV shouldn't be in your penny list. ASV=shilling, as per Buz's post. Baloney! In my 8 years sojourn here at EvC, I've never touted the KJV. I most always use the ASV. All versions have some errors, usually minor and insignificant, according to the manuscript interlinears.
