Over the years, there have been discussions about what we humans remember and when that memory process begins. While most will admit to remembering things when they were 5 or 6 years old and then the older they get the more they recall, some suggest they can remember things much earlier.
Some work has been done suggesting traumatic memories seem to stick better than more pleasant ones.
At what age do we actually begin to remember things? And how do we distinguish between actual memories and memories of what we were told actually happened? Are we recalling the events or what somebody told us about the events in our lives?
