Heck, I forgot about them. That explains a lot of things. They have cloaking which also explains how the marsupies got to New Zealand without anybody knowing how and fundy blind obedience..they just couldn't see the cloaked Klingons? Our education is now complete. I just thought the fundasupials were brain damaged. I feel badly now. NOT!

Sounds good except for one misconception. There was vegetation.
Since the dove went out and brought back an olive tree leaf, which I never understood how an olive tree can grow after a flood so quickly and produce a leaf, then God must have just put back everything in its place, if the flood happened. But then why take 2 of every kind if God was going to put everything back in its place?

Absolutely none of it makes any sense nor is it logical. Yet a few billion still buy the stories.
As a child I knew something was terribly wrong with the church thing, I just never knew why I felt that way. I was roundly scorned and even threatened with "eternal damnation" for having issues and questions. Scared the piss out of me. Isn't it odd how once you shake free of the universal ignorance and blind faith required for any religion to survive, your brain miraculously awakens and starts functioning again?

Isn't it odd how once you shake free of the universal ignorance and blind faith required for any religion to survive, your brain miraculously awakens and starts functioning again? Well I never believed until recently. I do hate religion, even though I participate in one (for the time being). My biggest mistake was to confuse religion/man/God. 3 different things. MY reasons for believing have little to do with the Old Testament. The story of the flood is in the bible, I don't know why. It is hard to fathom it ever happening, but I won't count it out either, because we are here today having a discussion, that's pretty amazing too. I mean if God created all this, then He could have made a flood and put everything back just as easily. I only think it is important to ask God what that story means.

I've arrived a point in my life that the entire Biblical thing is so preposterous that I have to shake my head at the attempts to justify it.
While I appreciate and will fight for a person's right to do as he pleases in this matter, I just don't get the whole church/God thing. I'm surrounded by these blind moles. When I am around a conversation in this regard I always avoid it when possible. But when asked I first say, "Are you sure you want to talk about this?" In reality, they really don't. I can see it in their faces once the discussion begins and I start asking the leading questions. Like a few other posts here, I, too, cannot believe they have not really ever questioned it. Hard to believe. The flood is just one of the fictional epics.

Looks like my ex-wife on a good day.
The North American 'Possum" is even further away from Ararat than the others. He just rode further on the cloaked Klingon ship. I didn't forget him. Just was talking about those in Ausiland and nearby.

quote: Well, if she was a looker, your previous insult to her implied, you wouldn't be her ex. I mean, you didn't marry her when she looked like that, right? What other conclusion could there be but being married to you made her lose her looks?
quote: Don't have any idea if she does or not. But I know that you are the type of person to insult their ex wife to strangers when she's not here to defend herself. Tacky, very tacky.
