Reinforcing the point, are you?
Repeating from my previous message:
quote:
Hair flying, one banshee seized the microphone and shrieked nonsense revealing irrational fears more than anything.
These Muslims are probably wondering about the search for moderate Christianity.

Re: The reception moderate(?) Islam sometimes gets
If you actually watch the video it is a great depiction of the Christian Cult of Ignorance in action. What a loony idiotic ignorant bigoted bleach blond testimony for the pathetic little god the CCoI tries to market.

Anyone so limited that they can only spell a word one way is severely handicapped!

Re: The reception moderate(?) Islam sometimes gets
Is this objective American journalism in action?
"Yokels," "banshee," "hair flying" yet, "hateful, hayseed, redneck, ignorant." No, this is hateful anti-American propaganda that says these people are too inferior to be allowed THEIR right to assembly to protest the establishment point of view.
Jar's terminology adds to the denunciation: "a loony Id-io-t-ic ignorant bigoted bleach blond testimony ..."
I was unable to watch the video for some reason but who needs to with this sort of attack on it, its source is all too clear.
Why not just call them "vermin" and "cockroaches" so you can be sure they'll all be exterminated when Your Time comes?

Re: The reception moderate(?) Islam sometimes gets
I wonder exactly what "irrational fears" were expressed by the "yokels" and the "banshee." Perhaps I'll get to find out eventually.
But I also just noticed this in that noble exercise in objective journalism:
This rancid garbage comes straight from the likes of Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, Frank Gaffney and Fox News, who’ve been relentlessly poisoning the discourse about Islam in this country for years.
That anybody could sink this low in their dealings with their honorable opponents is what should really be identified as the poisoning of discourse about Islam in this country. Geller and Spencer are heroes who are the targets of the intolerant pro-Islam PC camp, I'm not familiar with Gaffney.

Too funny Faith. But in the US folk have a right to be a loony idiotic ignorant bigoted bleach blond without being exterminated. That fact is she was allowed to make her loony idiotic ignorant bigoted bleach blond testimony.

Re: The reception moderate(?) Islam sometimes gets
It took a few years of "vermin" propaganda to add up to the slaughter of the Jews and a few years of "cockroach" propaganda against the Tutsis by a Belgian Roman Catholic priest broadcasting relentlessly over the radio to add up to their slaughter by the Hutus. Not that I'm expecting such a slaughter in reality but that IS the aim of this sort of propaganda and to minimize it as you are doing is to participate in it.
Of course you didn't bother to try to defend it as journalism, because obviously it's anything but.

Finally got to see the video. WHAT "irrational fears?" She stepped up to the microphone and declared the Name of Jesus Christ over the capitol of Texas, and denounced the false religion of Islam and the false prophet Mohammed. She should have said it from the sidelines and not taken the microphone away from the speaker, in my opinion, but otherwise her message was nothing like it's being portrayed here. Of course.
But the signs are that Islam is what all you urbane sophisticated nonyokels want, and I suspect that is what you are going to get, and not too far in the future either.

Editorial from the Dallas Morning New, reported at Little Green Footballs blog
The story is about an editorial in a Dallas newspaper, as reported in a formerly right wing blog.
What I quoted is from the newspaper editorial content.
A couple of links about Charles Johnson and the Little Green Footballs blog.
Little Green Footballs - Wikipedia
I suggest reading the whole thing, but a quote from the Wiki article:
quote:
LGF won the "Best Israel Advocacy Blog" award from the Jerusalem Post in 2005.[6] In 2004 Gil Ronen, a reporter for Internet news outlet Israel National News, stated that "If anyone ever compiles a list of Internet sites that contribute to Israel’s public relations effort, Johnson's site will probably come in first, far above the Israeli Foreign Ministry's site."[7]
In the United States, LGF is perhaps best known for playing a key role in exposing the fraud of the Killian documents regarding President George W. Bush,[8][9] which preceded the resignation of CBS's Dan Rather. The site won the Washington Post's reader poll for Best International Blog in November 2004[10] and played a role in bringing attention to altered photographs in the Adnan Hajj photographs controversy.[11] In July 2008, LGF identified that photographs of Iran's missile test had been altered,[12] and was credited by much of the media for this.[13]
Charles Johnson continues to be what to me is an over-rabid Israel supporter.
A blogger's parting with the right (dated January 8, 1910):
quote:
Back when he built his Little Green Footballs website into a favorite of the conservative right, Charles Johnson liked to write about the "Loony Left" and "Bush Derangement Syndrome."
He would pair accounts of extremist violence with sarcastic headlines about Islam, the "Religion of Peace." A 2006 anti-war rally in Washington went down as an "Idiotfest" and activist Cindy Sheehan "Mama Moonbat."
Imagine the surprise among conservatives to learn -- in a series of postings over nearly the last two years, and then in an official declaration of estrangement a little more than a month ago -- that their darling did not love them anymore. Maybe he never did.
Johnson's posting on Nov. 30, Why I Parted Ways with The Right, created a maelstrom in some corners of the blogosphere and the Twitterverse.
From Why I Parted Ways with The Right:
quote:
1. Support for fascists, both in America (see: Pat Buchanan, Robert Stacy McCain, etc.) and in Europe (see: Vlaams Belang, BNP, SIOE, Pat Buchanan, etc.)
2. Support for bigotry, hatred, and white supremacism (see: Pat Buchanan, Ann Coulter, Robert Stacy McCain, Lew Rockwell, etc.)
3. Support for throwing women back into the Dark Ages, and general religious fanaticism (see: Operation Rescue, anti-abortion groups, James Dobson, Pat Robertson, Tony Perkins, the entire religious right, etc.)
4. Support for anti-science bad craziness (see: creationism, climate change denialism, Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, James Inhofe, etc.)
5. Support for homophobic bigotry (see: Sarah Palin, Dobson, the entire religious right, etc.)
6. Support for anti-government lunacy (see: tea parties, militias, Fox News, Glenn Beck, etc.)
7. Support for conspiracy theories and hate speech (see: Alex Jones, Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Birthers, creationists, climate deniers, etc.)
8. A right-wing blogosphere that is almost universally dominated by raging hate speech (see: Hot Air, Free Republic, Ace of Spades, etc.)
9. Anti-Islamic bigotry that goes far beyond simply criticizing radical Islam, into support for fascism, violence, and genocide (see: Pamela Geller, Robert Spencer, etc.)
10. Hatred for President Obama that goes far beyond simply criticizing his policies, into racism, hate speech, and bizarre conspiracy theories (see: witch doctor pictures, tea parties, Birthers, Michelle Malkin, Fox News, World Net Daily, Newsmax, and every other right wing source)
And much, much more. The American right wing has gone off the rails, into the bushes, and off the cliff.
I won’t be going over the cliff with them.

My bolding.
A real conservative that faced up to having had enough of the current state of the Republican party.

And all that justifies the anti-Christian hate speech in that article how? Not the editorial, the article ABOUT the editorial.
ABE: But to be clear, the attitude of the editorial, which is echoed here, is definitely hate speech as I've been objecting to it. Just another bleached blonde yokel vermin cockroach banshee, who in fact wasn't banshee-like at all but simply a proclaimer of Christ in perfectly ordinary Biblical terms.

It was inappropriate, unsuited to polite company and behavior that should not be tolerated even for first graders.
Any Christian who does not find that woman's behavior reprehensible should be pitied.

but there wasn't any. There was anti-idiot retoric, but she wasn't singled out as christian, just as a hate monger, and a lunatic.

So letting people have their 1st Amendment Rights is bowing to Allah?

The above ontological example models the zero premise to BB theory. It does so by applying the relative uniformity assumption that the alleged zero event eventually ontologically progressed from the compressed alleged sub-microscopic chaos to bloom/expand into all of the present observable order, more than it models the Biblical record evidence for the existence of Jehovah, the maximal Biblical god designer.
