There is a small village in Spain that tells the story of mysterious faces on the floor, it is believed to be human faces of the dead, ANZ | Australia New Zealand Pacific Islands – Discovery, Inc.
Here is a video

"Flat-out" Weird!
A couple things I should've asked earlier: First, are all the faces that appear of the same person or set of persons? Second, has the event been tested in a controlled experiment, whereby the family is moved out of the house and the house is guarded and left empty for a period averaging the time it takes for the faces to completely form?
If this were done, then it might shed some light on the whole thing. There are a lot of chemicals out there that could easily soak into cement ('specially oils) and it could still be possible that they have been faked by the family.
Another thing: I think each of the faces should be documented, and an investigation should be run on each one to see if there were any people matching those descriptions living at the site in the past.

Re: "Flat-out" Weird!
I agree, but they sealed it all off for a while, and the things on the floor moved around, like they were alive. I do not know why this is not being dug deeper, perhaps people there are too superstitious to take it any further. You know, for the way it was researched I do not think that it could have been tampered with if it was sealed off for so long. I am not too sure about the "evps" that they recorded, they might be a throw in... But honestly with the human skeletons they found just under the firepit, how do you know there is not more bodies within the house? They were all headless too... I don't know I always thought this was interesting.

Re: "Flat-out" Weird!
Actually, that was another thing I was thinking of. They should dig the floors out more, perhaps there is something deeper or off to the side of where they dug originally.
Have these faces appeared in any other places; rooms; houses nearby; houses around the world?

I believe this is the only place where the faces are, I would love to go there someday and see for myself... Sounds like a murder case to me haha

Down right funny.
Bravo to the Villagers. A great prank and may they continue to con the gullible for many decades to come.

Re: Down right funny.
Not worth the effort. However the BBC already did and if you search their archives you will see where it was determined that the images were created using vinegar and soot.
You are, of course, free to believe anything. In the meantime, others will simply sit back and enjoy the show.
Just a few points though.
The house was built in the 1840 on land that had been a cemetery, originally Roman, the Muslim, then Christian. So finding human bones and skeletons beneath the house is, well, not too much of a surprise.
Edited by jar, : add some history of the house.

Re: Down right funny.
Too many people believe it, perhaps this lady did make SOME herself, but I do not think that even after the house was sealed up she could somehow make the images move around mysteriously; even the bleeding Jesus and Mary statues can't be explained ( by science).
Point taken...
It's a belief that disturbing a cemetery can bring up spirits, from their eternal rest.

Re: Down right funny.
I see two problems. The faces are all done in different artistic styles and with different levels of skill. I don't expect these spirits, having no hands mind you, to be drawing their own portraits.
The recordings are probably just some local guys having fun in there drawing,... English? Come on.

the cutest little...
I'm seeing some mysterious faces forming on an old grilled-cheese sandwich I have in the fridge.
I'm not sure if I should throw it out or auction it on eBay. Advice, anyone?

Re: the cutest little asset...
Kuresu is right: auction.
Also, put more sandwiches in your fridge--but only sell one at a time.

It's interesting that you "believe" something with very little evidence and then demand "proof" before you'll accept that it's a hoax.
A better policy would be "false until proven true". Accept nothing until you see good evidence. And always be prepared to reject it again if new evidence appears.

Not to speak type for her, but I think her point was that the evidence was good enough for her and that the simple assertion that it is a hoax was not.
