Some definitions, as I see it:
Theist - A believer in God.
Evolutionist - A believer, or perhaps better stated, an accepter of evolution.
Theistic evolutionist - A theist who believes that God guided evolution. This may range from a little guidance in certain details, or micromanagement of the whole program.
Now there are theists who are also evolutionists, who are NOT theistic evolutionists as above defined. The may indeed believe in a creator God, but don't profess that God guided evolution, or at least that they don't know if or how God guided evolution.
Ken Miller is such a person - A theist and an evolutionist, but not a theistic evolutionist. I suspect Jar is like Miller.
So, I'm wondering if you are a theistic evolutionist as I defined above, or a theist and evolutionist of the Miller kind.
