Good god, even the moderates have the disease!It seems a pipe dream but it would be nice to have a competent moderate from the right emerge. Please, do tell us HOW EXACTLY any republican potential candidate would "restore america". I don't want talking points, I don't want to hear fear mongering about what "the other guys" are doing. No, I want specific policies the republicans have in mind and why EXACTLY I, as a lower middle-class American, should vote for them.

Pretty sure I requested you, specifically, to give me a direct answer free from hyperbole. As is typical with conservatives, all you have is hate speech and fear mongering.

This is a question that I asked in my thread How Does Republican Platform Help Middle Class? I never did get an answer to that. What I got instead was "LOWER TAXES . . . for the rich" and "NO MORE EPA GUIDELINES . . . for huge corporations". I would really love to hear how Palin is going to help those lower middle class "Mamma Bears", and actually be specific instead of trotting out the old worn Republican one-liners.

The fact is, IMO, they do NOTHING for anyone but the super rich. All they do for regular americans is provide talking points. I have encountered a couple people recently who, in talking about other things (we weren't discussing politics), mentioned essentially how "democrats are gunna take mah guns away". One was my building manager: an 80 year old man who I had no intention of discusisng politics with. The other was my dad's friend who said "there's too many democrats for me to carry my guns down the street".It appears as though people that vote republican see ONE point in which is important to them that the republican party stands for and vote based on that. Regardless of how true or false it is. For example: "democrats want to raise my taxes!" or "democrats r gunna come to my house and take mah guns!".This is why it is so surprising to see why people like Coyote stand up for them..... It really seems as though the only people anymore who stand by the current conservative crop of politicians are Fox News viewers.....
