How many muslims do you know buz?
Why do you think muslims will follow what it says in the koran? Do christians follow the bible? No..Religous people, like yourself, pick what ever they want to believe from your books of Horror. Yea, there's som stuff in the koran talking about establishing one ruling kalifat, but that dosent really mean anything. Does all the sick sh*t in your book make you and every other christian a bad people? Even Jesus tells you to find all the non believers and chop their heads off. I dont really see any problems, even if Obama was a muslim (Which i doubt, would be a little odd since he had christianity near him almost all of his life, and really no islam except for a couple of years.) Your Michelle Malkin link is dead, but so what if "Totalitarian thugs" endorse him? I dont see the problem. I see a bigger issue with Bush and McCain endorsing Totalitarian thugs. Edited by rbp, : No reason given.

Way back in October 07 when it didn't appear that Obama had a prayer ... ... and you were wrong about that, too ...
this is what I posted: And the funny thing is that you're not embarrassed to remind us of it.
Has anyone here taken note of who endorses Obama ... Yeah. Millions and millions of Americans. Edited by Dr Adequate, : No reason given.

As I recall, most media pundants were predicting a Clinton victory last October. BUZSAW B 4 U 2 C Y BUZ SAW. The question is, how much research you've done on Islam and life in Islamic totalitarian regimes once Islam gains population and begins to impose Islamic law on the citizens. Do you pay any attention to what goes on in Islamic nations where Sharia law is imposed or how women are treated in Islamic regimes? 2. Muslims don't follow the Koran until they become devout or until Islamic law prevails in a nation. Most have no personal choice or freedom in totalitarian Islamic nations. 3. Obviously you know little Bible if you think Jesus or anyone in the New Testament advocated chopping anyone's head off or doing physical harm to one's fellow citizen. My purpose in bringing up the link was not to debate Islam off topic, but to remind of some things about Obama, now the frontrunner candidate. BUZSAW B 4 U 2 C Y BUZ SAW. The immeasurable present eternally extends the infinite past and infinitely consumes the eternal future.

One of the reasons that we need to elect someone like Obama is to prove to ourselves and the rest of the world that this type of ignorant, backward thinking nonsense in America can be overcome.
People like you need to have your ideas marginalized by the forces and voices of reasonable people. This kind of insanity needs to be the stingy minority drowned out by the masses who are proclaiming that this is not what we stand for as a nation. And if your voice prevails, if we choose based on ignorance and bigotry, then it is all of us that will be marginalized by the rest of the world. Rather than strive toward our ideals of freedom, equality, and the American dream, we will only continue to be seen for what we are and have been; a self-centered bastion for corporatism propped up by our industrial might and the "fear sells" ideology of our minority class of leaders. Of course, biblical creationists are committed to belief in God's written Word, the Bible, which forbids bearing false witness; --AIG (lest they forget)

I'd vote for Colin Powell if that was the case (a true moderate). screw the rest of the world though.

blah blah. i dont vote based on what i think the rest of the planet will think about america. i never vote based on ignorance and bigotry. who would do that?

Im guessing because they were always conservative and the democrats took a liberal shift. If you are conservative then you are for business as usual. Since the War for Independence was most assuredly not for "business as usual" you were against the War for Independence if you were a conservative.

I didn't know there were confederates in the War of Independence. Learn something new every day.

You pretty much entirely misunderstood what I was saying.
I didn't say anything about electing Obama because he was black. I was saying that it would be a stain on our nation if the main reason that Obama was not elected turned out to be people like Buzsaw who lie and propagate hateful propaganda. I can tell that you didn't get it because you said:
thats rather subjective as we could say the same about you, and the socialist left. Which has nothing to do with what I was responding too. If you are voting against Obama because you don't believe in progressive values then thats fine. I think you are wrong and foolish but thats another discussion. Thats not what Buz is doing though. He is spreading lies. He is lying. 12% of people think that Obama is a Muslim Double that think that he was a Muslim at some point. First of all, that shouldn't matter. Second, it is a lie with the deliberate attempt to make him seem different/scary.
blah blah. i dont vote based on what i think the rest of the planet will think about america. Yea you do unless you vote entirely based on domestic issues. If foreign policy positions affect your decision then you do care because our economy, our national security, and our prosperity depends on how other nations are willing to continue to be good allies, good trade partners, etc.
i never vote based on ignorance and bigotry. who would do that? I don't know but apparrently Buzsaw does. I was replying to him. Of course, biblical creationists are committed to belief in God's written Word, the Bible, which forbids bearing false witness; --AIG (lest they forget)

dangit, you are one of the more fun people to debate with on here. but i guess since i baited you once already your defense is up.

Double that think that he was a Muslim at some point.
ooh you got me on that one. i dont think he is a christian either, but like that matters. he is a socialist IMO, and I hated everything he did "for" Illinois. consider me in the same group as those texans who came out 8 years ago and said dont vote for this Bush guy he was our governor and he is no good. except im from Obama's "home" state.
First of all, that shouldn't matter. Second, it is a lie with the deliberate attempt to make him seem different/scary. i agree.I wouldn't vote for Obama for other reasons, mainly differences in political ideology. Yea you do unless you vote entirely based on domestic issues. If foreign policy positions affect your decision then you do care because our economy, our national security, and our prosperity depends on how other nations are willing to continue to be good allies, good trade partners, etc.
no i don't. national security is not a foreign issue. Trade is not as important if they "like" us or not. actually i dont think any reason you listed affects whether i care how somebody in another country feels about america, because they dont like us, and they are still trading with us, and they aren't invading us. i disagree, but we could be getting off topic.

dangit, you are one of the more fun people to debate with on here. but i guess since i baited you once already your defense is up. You might have more fun if you make a commitment to debate in good faith rather than be a troll. I am sure there are plenty of things we can disagree on honestly without resorting to distorting peoples arguments. Maybe the fact that you were the one to "bait" should make you think a little bit about who is trying to have an honest conversation here.

Yea it might be off topic. But what is on topic is that I fundamentally disagree with you about national security. It was our fumbling of middle eastern relations that led to the rise of terror groups in the first place. We need a president who cares about our national image to prevent this from getting worse and to restore the confidence in our national pride to ensure that something like that doesn't happen in the future. John McCain pretty much has demonstrated that he is entirely incapable of doing this. John McCain's idea of being a statesman is to sing, "Bomb Bomb Bomb, Bomb Bomb Iran", and to suggest that one of the ways we can kill off the Iranians is to export more cigarettes to their country. Thats not being tough. Thats not taking a firm stand against an aggressive nation. That is simply being a dismissive idiot not fit for the office of the president. Of course, biblical creationists are committed to belief in God's written Word, the Bible, which forbids bearing false witness; --AIG (lest they forget)

What gives you the impression that I could not be a conservative? I would be amazed if you could read so much from so little.
What makes you think a conservative would have been "for" the War for Independence? Perhaps your confused about the label "conservative" or "liberal"? Since I framed my answer in response to your statement that there were several conservatives in favor of the War for Independence, let's stick to that for now.
