Search For a New Electric Guitar.

I am hoping this Christmas, or maybe later in the year if my Dad can't afford it, to get a new guitar. I've been leaning to getting the famous American Stratocaster. Haven't totally decided on colour yet, but I am also again leaning towards either the all white hendrix style, or black, guy style.Here are some pics to give an idea of the guitars.The point of the post: Can anyone help me decide? I know there are a few who are well versed in guitar or music in general. Tell me what you know.

I like the Ibanez S series guitars. Most famous for their super-thin bodies. It just wears well on me. they also have really fast necks and low action.I bought mine on EBay; I think that's the way to go. People usually take good care up upper end guitars. Mine was just like this one, but a blue/black fade instead of green/black. Same gold hardware though. It was awesome.Here's the ibanez homepage:

I have decided to try to make some money and buy this: An Ibanez Tube Screamer to add some gain/warmth to my cold amp. Not for distortion.It should be good, I've had my old instructor reccomend me this and a stratocaster.

That pisses me off bad. Fender is sooo commercial now. And actually, all electric guitar makers are besides a few like PRS and Gibson. But I want the strat badly.That Ibanez guitar that ben showed looked sick.Yaro are you a girl or a guy? My husband started the account ages ago. I have basicaly taken it over.

For Christmas, my dad just up and bought me the white strat and the pedal... So cool.

I'm an old metal head myself, sans the obligatory Marshall stack.
I have a very old Aria Pro II (all stock, but I'm so used to it, if I added Floyd Rose, it just wouldn't feel he same) and a Zoom pedal.The pedal can, within reason, make your rig sound like anyone from SRV to Dime Bag Darrell.My first good axe was a Strat, dark blue with tiny metal flake; no locking nut on the bar, so it went out of tune all the time.I echo the suggestion to look on ebay, found a couple of Jackson's that I lusted over.
