Author | Topic: Where do all the creationists go? | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
joz Inactive Member |
With the exception ot TC creationists don`t seem to hang around here for long....
Where do they go? I mean so far John Paul, Redstang, king penguin, cobra snake and an assortment of supporting characters have buggered off to destinations unknown.... It would be nice to know where they post now (if in fact they still do) if only to see if they are doing a Crawford and posting the same tired drivell time and time again.... And maybe remind them that they skipped out in the middle of some arguments here, throw down the proverbial gauntlet as it were.... So anyone know where they are? No, I f I had my "drothers" brother I would be back on ICR showing how to utilize orthogensis. I almost think I have unterstood the urubus as life and not death for which I thought I had it observed before I began to work up lizard scales not teeth anterior-posterior vs amphibian sound transverse vs lateral for any determinant diagonal but to talk the way I thought and think is too much even for ICR administration. There is still hope in the face of religious education to see Hertiage College morph into a fully teaching institution but the secular education in Sunday scholl must find a distributed move in to education if only freeing up kids with knoweldge before they get into the public school that can only make a drunk greek frat or sorietly out of the isolated church and state.

You have to forgive Brad. He gets really confused when he is off meds.

I am now the only YEC on the top-ten posters list besides restang, and he seems to have left! A bit lop-sided indeed, though always still a great source of debate.
--I'm not sure where they fled, some may be reading some text-books (prays!) or others may be lurking in other forums, not quite sure though. ------------------ [This message has been edited by TrueCreation, 05-14-2002]

Joe, I may be familiar with and able to use more nouns than any strech you all think is logically. English word get is not go. Goto is not Gosub sub-marine was not the only word published in 1902 and by 1855 the word "indenpendent" did not mean it could only be used to natrually select Darwin over Russel.

quote: Very interesting, but...... is English your first language? It was a civil enough question. Judging by the tone of your answer, I guess so. I never intended to insult. I GENUINELY CAN'T TELL. Mark ------------------Occam's razor is not for shaving with.

Hi, Brad!
I hope you're not letting the inquiries bother you. We're honestly just curious because your posts are so consistently difficult to interpret. Here's a question for you: If you go back to one of your old posts from several weeks ago, one that's old enough that you no longer remember writing it, does it make sense to you? Here's another question: Do you talk the way you write? I guess that would be a difficult question for anyone to answer, so how about if I instead ask if people you talk to often express any difficulty in understanding what you're saying. --Percy

quote: Many creationists (and mutationalists) are ‘vexed’ by arguments of psuedo-science (i.e., ‘mutationalism’, vain genealogies, doting questions, and ‘debating’, per se). Consider: I continue to debate to the point that it confirms a rational ‘hope’ of the excellency of the universe. That there are both ‘cursed’ and ‘redemptive’ data observations seem fact enough for most unbiased ‘scientists’. Focusing too much on the ‘cursed’ observations, ‘pointlessness’, ‘randomness’, etc., is neither logical nor healthy (methinks). Generalizing ‘mutant’ life forms beyond what is presently observed and inferred is a ‘dead-end’ debate for creationists and (methinks) scientists of all disciplines. The creationist concludes it is suspiciously delusional to infer gross complex changes via the gross ‘mutant’ mechanism. The ‘non-theistic’ creationist will thus abandon such debate. Doting questions are often passed over by creationists entirely: Like, Who did Cain marry?, Why are creationists computer hackers?, Why did God make all things ‘cursed’?, etc., when clearly such questions cause strife, confusion, etc., when ‘toyed’ with excessively. Engaging too much in some debate, as I have with Taz, Quetzel, and Darwin_T, has also been sore vexing for me. These 3 hard-line mutationalists will beguile your thoughts till you wonder if there is a forest for all the trees. That is, you almost believe that their ‘mutational’ microscopic models are actually relevant (regarding origins of species), when in fact, their advances of everything that is ‘already’ extraordinarily complex and ‘excellent’. This is way beyond their scope, despite the ‘proven’ scientists that they are. Many a creationist has ‘other’ agendas (praying, groaning, singing, worshiping the creator, maturing, etc.) As for me, I hope to cohere to discuss aspects of origins with you all, in a scientific manner, while not compromising the logic and the nature of the ID model. I know I shall never ‘convert’ any here (and vice versa).

Hey! Welcome back, Cobra. Hope school ending/finals went okay for you. Don't forget me when you get a chance to restart old debates.

Haha, I'm sure by now you take my promises to "get a reply up soon" with a large grain of salt! Then again, time is relative. After all, if one day can actually be a hundred million years....
