EvoPeach,
I assume you missed my Message 76. Please read it now.
Any further posts from you on the subject of carbon as an example of IR outside of [forum=-25] will bring a suspension. Please keep in mind that you need supporting citations from within the ID community.

Re: Followup despite Cnesorship
Little Percy Cat Bird, shove it where the sun doen't shine. There does that do it for you .. as in permanent suspension... my oh my what a calamity! Thanks for the laughs. I do hold you in derision you know. This last week has crystallized my view that the evolutionary community is the NewSpeak community of the 21st century and I plan to redouble my financial support of the D.I. and one other long time opponent of the intellectually vacuous non-theory called darwinian evolution. Grown people acting like little spoiled children who when confronted with honest disagreement and in general alternative ideas by a large and growing body of scientists simply yell louder, grasp form over substance, exercise contrived censorship and in general display all the reasons why the polls of the American people show complete distain for you and yours. Now go back to your little self congratulatory emails and self assuring avatars. You are like the forty year street sweeper who working at the Eagles concert parking lot gets a little uniform and a flashlight to direct parking .. the preeminent power position of his otherwise pitiful unaccomplished life.
You people have seen your apex ... its all downhill from here.

Cat Bird
Is this supposed to be a pun or is it just another demonstration of your twisted alternative world where DNA is composed of amino acids and Catbert is called Cat Bird?

A suspension for EvoPeach
With continued posts demonstrating zany logic and a tendancy to get personal and nasty it is time for a longer suspension. Three days this time.

Re: Followup despite Cnesorship
To everyone (even though I'm replying to EvoPeach),
EvoPeach's suspension is only for three days, and when he returns he's welcome to participate fully for as long as he follows the Forum Guidelines and moderator requests, just like everyone else.
Members who have issues with moderators or moderating procedures should take them to the General discussion of moderation procedures: The Sequel thread.
If EvoPeach is actually serious about carbon as an example of IR, he is welcome to propose the topic in the [forum=-25] forum as long as he includes some evidence that this is a position that ID proponents are actually promoting. It is my view that there is no merit to the position and that he merely introduced it into the Is ID Scientific? (was "Abusive Assumptions") thread in a fit of pique after his last suspension. He then proceded to fritter away the rest of that thread in a stream of unconstructive posts over a mere half day, then brought the same topic over to this thread to continue to do the same here. If this is actually a serious view within ID then EvoPeach needs to make that clear. EvC Forum will not be hosting nonsense discussions in the science forums.

Re: "I Am"
Hi Sidelined, sorry for the "slight" delay in replying
What I am talking about is the relationship between time and space. Can you remove the time portion of the program and still run the program?
Yes, absolutely. In The Matrix it appeared that the computer simulation evolved in real-time, so that at any one time, the computer held a 3d reality. Here, time was not being modelled. It could not be removed from the program.
In my example, time is part of the model. At any moment, the computer holds a static model of the entirety of space-time. I can see your birth, your death, your great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather's birth, Mitochondrial Eve's first child, the birth of the universe, the end of the universe, etc, etc.
Objects appear as lines (we call them world-lines in GR). If we zoom in on your world-line, it starts to look more like a carrot, as your spatial cross-section increases along the time-direction, to a maximum then a slight decrease before we reach the other end.
It's just like a big map. At one end is the "future" and the other is the "past". This is how GR works. It is also leads us to one of the biggest mysteries of existence, which is the "problem of time".
I make one slight change to my model (one minus sign to a plus sign) and now it is not a model of 4d space-time, but is a model of 4d space. Again, the model can be examined like a map, but now we would probably not use terms like "future" and "past", as there is no causual structure.

This is absolutely unbelievable. I know I haven't always been very polite to everyone, but this behaviour is really inexcusable. If I were Percy I'd find a way to shunt 10.000 amps through this person's keyboard.
But the funny thing is that he doesn't even get what he expects (and deserves!): a permanent suspension. The admins are too kind. (Or... it's a bit of a mean streak and they won't let him off the hook, good for them!)
Anyway, if Evilpeach stays away, good riddance, we don't need his kind here. And if he decides to return, I for one will ignore him until he's apologized to Percy and the rest of those whom he's insulted. He's really not worth our time.
There, I feel a lot better now.

Conditional Apology;
You have to tell me if that thing on your head is a birthmark, a tatoo, a parasite or are you really an alien. I 'm leaning toward the latter.

I'm fairly certain, from conversation, that Parasomnium is not, in fact, TV actress Jeri Ryan.
You may know something I don't, though. (Considering your body of work here so far I would be very surprised to find that to be the case.)

I don't have to tell you anything. Conditional apology is not acceptable.
